Official description of the call
The full text of the call and the standard application form for the award can be found on the Institut del Teatre website, section “ADRIÀ GUAL PRIZE”. First. Beneficiaries Any person who, at the time of submitting the application, meets the following requirements can apply for the award: Having graduated or having achieved all credits in any specialty of the Higher School of Dramatic Arts of the Institut del Teatre (ESAD). In all cases, within the academic years 2015-16 to 2024-25 (both included). Not having previously obtained the Adrià Gual Award from the Institut del Teatre. Each signatory of the application may submit a single project in the current edition. Likewise, neither the signatory nor any member of his or her team may be part of any of the other aspiring proposals submitted for the current edition Award. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, processing, granting and payment of the Adrià Gual Prize of the Institut del Teatre 2025, which will be awarded to the best staging project. This award is part of the actions of the Institut del Teatre to: Support new talent and promote the professional insertion of graduates of the Higher School of Dramatic Art (ESAD) of the Institut del Teatre, supporting and promoting the production and exhibition of a professional stage project of live performing arts. Third. Prize award The Adrià Gual Prize of the Institut del Teatre 2025 has a global financial award of THIRTY THOUSAND EUROS (€30,000.00). This amount will be charged to the budget of the Institut del Teatre broken down into the following years: Budgetary year Organic Economic Amount 2025 99200 480.01 €21,000.00 2026 99200 480.01 €9,000.00 Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB).
