Subsidies for the acquisition or improvement of skills linked to the ecological transition, within the framework of the Empleaverde+ Program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), in 2025

Official description of the call

First. - Beneficiary entities. In accordance with the provisions of article 2 of Order TED/1317/2023, of November 29, the following entities may obtain the status of beneficiaries: Public legal entities. Private legal entities, with or without profit motive. Groups of legal entities, public or private, with or without profit motive. Second. - Object. The purpose of the call is to support projects that develop actions aimed at unemployed people, workers and entrepreneurs for the acquisition or improvement of skills that facilitate access to the labor market and promote the professional recycling process to adapt to the new skills and knowledge demanded by the market. The themes of the projects will be aligned with the policies, strategies and plans regarding the protection of natural heritage, biodiversity, forests, the sea or oceans, water, energy, climate change, the urban environment, and pollution prevention, as well as policies to face the demographic challenge and territorial depopulation, with a gender focus. The projects must be framed in one of the two following lines of action: Line 1. Working people. Training in skills for green employment aimed at working people. Line 2. Unemployed people. Training in skills for green employment aimed at unemployed people with the possibility of hiring. Third. - Regulatory bases. Order TED/1317/2023, of November 29, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies from the Biodiversity Foundation, F.S.P., on a competitive basis, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus to promote the ecological transition through training actions aimed at unemployed people, workers and entrepreneurs. Room. - Endowment. The maximum global award for the call is €13,227,202.51. The minimum amount requested per project will be €150,000 and the maximum €2,000,000. Fifth. - Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 60 calendar days and will begin the day following the date of publication of the extract of this call, under the terms and conditions specified in the regulatory bases. Sixth. - Other data. The full text of the call, as well as the rest of the relevant information about the process, will be published on the Biodiversidad Foundation website, www.fundacion-biodiversidad.es
