Official description of the call
First. Purpose: The purpose of this award is to enhance our cultural identity and promote literary and scientific creation in the Valencian language. The Ciutat d'Alzira Literary Awards are intended to be an element of cultural revitalization that involves not only writers, but also the reading public. Second. Beneficiaries: Anyone can apply for this award. Minors may not appear. Third. Regulatory bases: The Plenary Session of the Alzira City Council, in the session held on January 29, 2020, has definitively approved the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alzira City Council, which contains the regulatory bases of the procedure for the granting of subsidies by this City Council, and the full text of the same has been published in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia No. 29, dated February 12, 2020. Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting the originals will be from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia until July 25, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Fifth.- Maximum total amount of the subsidy called: The maximum total amount of this subsidy called will be 16,000 euros, charged to budget application 3340 48000, of the Alzira City Council Budget for the year 2025. Sixth.- Documentation: The participating works must be original and unpublished.
