Resolution of the Menéndez Pelayo International University of May 19, 2025, which calls for scholarships to participate in the “Ortega y Gasset Summer Classroom for initiation to the University” 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries 1. Anyone who, at the end of the application submission period, may apply for the scholarships that are the subject of this call: a) has completed the last year of the baccalaureate or the higher-level vocational training cycle; and b) accredit an average grade equal to or greater than 9.60 points out of 10 in the set of the two courses of the baccalaureate or the corresponding training cycle of a higher degree of vocational training. 2. National or foreign students who, meeting the requirements of letters a) and b) of this section, may also be beneficiaries of these scholarships, have completed their high school studies at any of the Spanish public educational centers abroad. Second. Purpose 80 grants are being called on a competitive basis to participate in the “Ortega y Gasset” Summer Classroom, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Universities, and which will be held at the UIMP headquarters in Santander from August 11 to 15, 2025. Third. Regulatory bases Order ECI/1305/2005, of April 20 (BOE of May 12, 2005) of regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies under a competitive competition regime. Room. Content of the aid In the case of selected students, the UIMP will cover the expenses corresponding to course registration and secretarial expenses; and accommodation and food on a full board basis during the dates of the Classroom. The coverage of these expenses will be considered in-kind aid. Travel expenses incurred by the applicants from the place of origin to Santander and back will be reimbursed, up to 270 euros. Fifth. Application submission period The application submission period will be open for 15 business days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official State Gazette.
