RULES AND CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES TO THE STREET PARTY ASSOCIATIONS OF XÀTIVA

Official description of the call

FIRST.- PURPOSE OF THE RULES. PURPOSES The purpose of these regulations is to define the conditions and the procedure to be followed for the application and granting of subsidies in competitive competition, granted by the Xàtiva City Council, within the framework of its budgetary forecasts, to those associations that carry out festive activities in our City, such as the Xàtiva street parties, for the promotion and promotion of the traditions and customs of Xàtiva through cultural, sports, environmental,... SECOND.- PURPOSE OF THE SUBSIDIES A subsidy is understood as any monetary provision made by any of the subjects contemplated in article 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, in favor of public or private persons, and that meets the following requirements: a) That the delivery is made without direct consideration from the beneficiaries. b) That the delivery is subject to the fulfillment of a certain objective, the execution of a project, the performance of an activity, the adoption of a singular behavior, already carried out or to be developed, or the concurrence of a situation, with the beneficiary having to comply with the material and formal obligations that have been established. c) That the project, action, conduct or situation financed has as its objective the promotion of an activity of public utility or social interest or the promotion of a public purpose. These bases are intended to grant financial aid to the non-profit cultural associations of Street Festivals of Xàtiva, for carrying out festive, cultural, associative activities, etc. with implementation in the municipal area of ​​Xàtiva. These subsidies will value actions that promote: These subsidies will have the objective of: - Promoting services of interest to the community, attributed to local competence, and supporting entities or groups that work in the festive field. - Promoting associations as a dynamic element of the festive, recreational and cultural activity of the citizens of Xàtiva. - Promote the creation of new forms of participation and social impact in the festive sphere. - Respect the environment and the natural environment. - Participation in the activities programmed by the Festive Culture area of ​​the Excmo. Xativa City Council. The granting of subsidies will comply with these rules, in relation to art. 26 of the Decree of June 17, 1955 by which the Regulation of Services of Local Corporations is approved: 1. They will be voluntary and eventual. 2. The corporation may revoke or reduce them at any time. 3. They will not be invoked as precedent. 4. They will not exceed, in any case, the cost of the activity to which they apply. 5. No increase or revision of the subsidy will be required. 6. The Corporation may verify, by the means it deems appropriate, the investment of the amounts granted in relation to its purposes. 7. The financing of these subsidies will be provided by budget application number 3F1.3380.48900 for the financial year 2025, for a total amount of €20,000.00. THIRD.- REQUIREMENTS from Xativa. b) Be up to date with tax obligations with the AEAT, the TGSS and the Xàtiva town council c) The activities do not have lucrative purposes, or if they obtain benefits, these are reinvested in those that are their own. d) The scope of action is within the municipality itself or outside its limits, in the event that it is considered of interest for the external projection of the City. e) The activities are open to the general public. f) Attach the documents listed in the following section. FOURTH.- APPLICATIONS Applications will be submitted through the Electronic Headquarters (https://xativa.sedelectronica.es) through the “Street Festivals 2025 Subsidy Application” procedure with an electronic certificate from the Association. The application submission period will begin the day following the publication of these Rules in the BOPV and will end after 10 business days from their publication.
