SUBSIDIES OF LINE 13.1- “CALL FOR ACTIONS FOR THE DEFENSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF WOMEN IN DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION”

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiary Persons: Non-Governmental Organizations for Development (hereinafter ONGD) and/or natural and/or legal persons that are legally constituted as a non-profit entity, with presence and social base in the city of Lleida, holding a minimum of one assembly per year may be entities requesting these aid. School centers (regulated education centers) will also be eligible. Second. Purpose The purpose of these bases is to regulate the granting of aid for a single call for actions aimed at the defense of Human Rights (HR) and the Human Rights of Women (DHD). They may involve actions aimed at working on Education for Social Transformation (EpTS) for the construction of a conscious, educated, critical, committed and mobilized citizenry to promote HR, the fight against racism and xenophobia, the culture of peace and social justice, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); Humanitarian Action, intervening in the most complex phases such as reconstruction, rehabilitation and productive reactivation, alleviating serious conflicts and humanitarian catastrophes, caused by natural or man-made disasters and/or war conflicts; projects around Migration and Refugees promoted by those entities that promote commitment and actions in favor of HRDs and DHDs in guaranteeing the right to asylum in conditions of dignity and equality for all refugees in Catalonia and/or International Development Cooperation projects. It is necessary that the projects to be subsidized take into account, with respect to their formulation, monitoring and execution, the guiding principles and transversal axes of the Municipal Cooperation Master Plan (PDMC) 2022-2025 of the Lleida City Council... The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province. If the period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, this period will be extended until the following Monday or subsequent business day. Sixth. Other data. Advances or payments on account may be made, exempt from guarantees, which will be authorized by the Local Government Board.
