CALL FOR GRANTS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2025 TO NON-GOVERNMENTAL GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK WITH POPULATIONS UNDER DEVELOPMENT 1.- Purpose and eligible period. Approve the call for subsidies to Groups and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that work with developing countries for the year 2025. The financial aid granted will be subsidy in nature and will have the general purpose of contributing to the fulfillment of the objectives for which it is granted within the scope of its functions. In relation to the call for subsidies to Non-Governmental Organizations and/or Getaria Groups and/or Organizations that collaborate with developing countries, the programs subject to subsidy must meet the following characteristics: - Do so in developing countries. - Organization and development of legally constituted Getaria groups and institutions and/or cooperation programs for the development and improvement of the economic human conditions of the neighbors of developing countries. Especially the cases of the most vulnerable groups, such as women and minors, promoting the development of their possibilities. - That citizens in general benefit from them. - Promote the involvement and participation of citizens. 2.- Deadline for the start of eligible actions The activities subject to subsidy will begin on January 1, 2025 and will end, in any case, before December 31, 2025. 3. – Payment of the subsidy. Once the application period opens, projects will be accepted and payments will be made directly. In the budget of the Getaria City Council for the financial year 2025, item 2200.481.230.00.01 with a total of €16,500.00 ends this call for aid. The amount of the two eligible lines will be made in a single payment and the justification deadlines will subsequently be established in the subsidy resolution. 4.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen calendar days counted from the day following the publication of the call in the OFFICIAL BULLETIN of Gipuzkoa. To complete the applications, the annex attached to this call will be used. 5.- Justification of the resolution and subsidies The maximum period for issuing and notifying the corresponding resolution will be six months from the submission of the application. The subsidy application must be submitted accompanied by the following documentation in both lines of subsidy: a) Project to be prepared (maximum 15 pages) and budget of expenses and income of the specific project, activity or program for which the subsidy is requested. b) DNI of the applicant or his representative. c) Photocopy of the association's CIF. d) Certification of registration, if applicable, in the Registry of Entities and Associations of the Basque Government. e) Document proving ownership of the account. f) Be up to date with your obligations with Social Security and the Gipuzkoa Treasury. The resolution of the procedure will be notified individually to the interested parties, in accordance with article 41.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, without prejudice to the publication on the City Council's website of the subsidies granted. The justification will be carried out by presenting, together with the justification document, in both lines of subsidy, the following documentation: a) Certificate of transfer to the person responsible for the execution of the program. b) Detailed report of the program or activity carried out. c) Original receipts or certified photocopies of the subsidized expense. Associations or entities must justify the application of the subsidies received by presenting the corresponding invoices and present a detailed report of the activities carried out when required to do so. In certain circumstances, and on an exceptional basis, a sworn declaration of the activity carried out may be accepted. d) Document accrediting the subsidy received by the counterpart location. The deadline for justifying will be dictated in the resolution accepting the subsidy. Failure to submit the justification or report within the established period will automatically result in the rejection of the subvention.
