Official description of the call

First. Object. 1. The purpose of this order is to convene, under a competitive competition regime, the Extraordinary Awards for professional teachings in Plastic Arts and Design, corresponding to the academic years 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, in order to recognize the merits of the students who have taken said teachings with excellent academic performance and to allow their participation in the national competition phase if they are successful. winners of one of the Extraordinary Awards for professional teaching in Plastic Arts and Design, organized by the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. 2. The receipt of this subsidy is compatible with any other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, coming from public or private organizations, from the European Union or international organizations, in accordance with the provisions of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17. Second. Beneficiaries. 1. Persons who are in the situation on which the award is based and in which the following circumstances apply may have the status of beneficiaries: a) Having completed the intermediate or higher degree training cycle of professional education in Plastic Arts and Design in the academic year 2022-2023, 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 in an educational center in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. b) Having obtained an average grade equal to or greater than 8.75 points in the intermediate or higher level training cycle of professional education in Plastic Arts and Design. The average grade will be the arithmetic mean of the grades for all the modules of the courses in the cycle, rounded to the nearest hundredth and, in the case of equidistance, to the nearest hundredth. Validated or exempt modules will not be taken into account for this calculation. 2. Those people who are subject to any of the prohibitions contemplated in article 12 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies may not have the status of beneficiaries. Third. Regulatory Bases. The bases by which this call is regulated are included in Order EDU/7/2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting, on a competitive basis, of the extraordinary awards for professional teachings in Music, Dance and Plastic Arts and Design in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria No. 50 of March 13, 2025. Fourth. Amount. 1. The global amount of the prizes in this call is 4,500.00 euros, and will be financed from budget application 09.05.324A.482.01 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2025. 2. The individual financial allocation of each prize will be €500.00. Fifth. Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days, counting from the day following the day this extract is published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Sixth. Documentation. Applicants who wish to participate in this call must complete the registration application that appears as Annex I of the call order, accompanied by the documentation indicated in article 3.6, in the event that the applicant objects to the consultations indicated in articles 3.4 and 3.5 of the call.
