Agreement June 19, 2025 JGL Castellón de la Plana City Council approval of call bases for subsidies aimed at promoting projects carried out by associations and entities providing social services

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Associations and non-profit entities that carry out the activities that are the subject of this call and meet the requirements demanded therein that have as their purposes the care of at least one of the following population groups: family, childhood and youth; senior citizens; physically, mentally and sensory disabled; people belonging to ethnic minority groups with special difficulties; chronically ill; mentally ill; immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers, transients and former prisoners; that do not depend economically or institutionally on for-profit entities, that are legally constituted and formally registered in the corresponding Registries, prior to the date on which the granting of the subsidy is requested; who are members of the Municipal Social Welfare Council and have their headquarters in the city of Castelló de la Plana, as well as a minimum infrastructure and organizational structure that guarantees the development of the project for which the subsidy is requested. The subsidized entities will have to comply with the generic obligations established in clause 6 of the General Ordinance Regulating the Granting of Subsidies of the Castelló de la Plana City Council. Second. Object. Co-finance projects that complement municipal actions in their attention to basic social needs and intervention, aimed at addressing the social problems of groups affected by inequality, poverty, social exclusion, marginalization and any form of discrimination, contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of these groups, preventing dependency, promoting their autonomy, psychosocial rehabilitation and integration into society and facilitating their comprehensive development and social promotion. Third. Regulatory bases. Bases of the call for the granting of subsidies aimed at promoting projects carried out by associations and entities providing social services corresponding to the year 2025. Fourth. Amount. For the financing of this call, the maximum amount of €270,000.00 is established. The amount of the subsidy to be awarded may not exceed, in any case, 80% of the total cost of execution of the subsidized project, the rest must be covered with contributions from the entity itself or other possible financiers, with the maximum amount to be subsidized per project being €18,000.00 applicable to all areas of action. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call for these subsidies in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón.
