Official description of the call

First. Purpose The purpose of this call is to award 3 Sierra de Tramuntana Research Awards 2025 on a competitive basis. The purpose of this call is to recognize research by authors who are submitted for this award through a financial contribution, for work or studies on the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana registered on the list of world heritage sites for UNESCO in 2011, and in accordance with the rules of the call. These awards aim to become a stimulus for research in everything that has made the Sierra deserving of this distinction. Second. Beneficiaries All persons of legal age, individually or jointly, who meet the following requirements can benefit from this call: They submit the application for participation within the established period. That they are not subject to any of the prohibition causes provided for in article 10 of Legislative Decree 2/2005, of December 28, by which the consolidated text of the Subsidies Law is approved, as well as in article 8 of the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Island Council of Mallorca. In order to obtain the prize, the winner will have to prove that he or she is up to date with compliance with tax and Social Security obligations before the State Administration, and with the tax obligations of the Council of Mallorca and the Sierra de Tramuntana Consortium. The fact of being up to date with the tax obligations with the State, with the Council of Mallorca, with the Sierra de Tramuntana Consortium and with Social Security will be verified by the same Consortium or the Council of Mallorca, since the submission of the subsidy application to this call implies authorization for its verification, unless expressly stated otherwise. This requirement must be accredited both prior to issuing the proposed resolution for granting and paying the prizes. That the work presented meets all the requirements and conditions of presentation established in this call. That the works presented have not been subsidized, awarded or granted scholarships in another competition. That the works have not been published before. One work may be submitted per individual and another as part of a group of applicants. In this sense, a person may present one work individually and another collectively with other Third Party people. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of this call are included in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Island Council of Mallorca and its dependent organizations, published in BOIB no. 21, of February 18, 2017, modified by agreement of the Plenary dated June 14, 2018, and definitively approved on August 1, 2018 (BOIB no. 96, of August 4, 2018), in that which does not contradict the regional subsidy regulations (Legislative Decree 2/2005, of December 28, by which approves the consolidated text of the Subsidies Law). Room. Financing and maximum amount To meet this call, the total amount of fifteen thousand euros (€15,000.00) is allocated, corresponding to item 00 33615 48100 and accounting documents RC no. 220250000216 and A nº 920250000523 of the budget of the Serra de Tramuntana Consortium for the year 2025. The Serra de Tramuntana Research and Research Awards 2025 will award 5,000 euros each of the 3 works or research studies best valued by the jury. Fifth. Submission deadline The deadline to submit applications will end on September 29, 2025 Sixth. Theme of the works. The Serra de Tramuntana Research Awards 2025 will reward works whose main theme is related to the cultural landscape of the Sierra de Tramuntana. The suggested themes, related to the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana, would be: hydraulic heritage agricultural uses dry stone constructions possessions and heritage elements mountain roads the influx, control and/or nature of visits to the world heritage and the opportunities generated by them. protective measures for the preservation of world heritage Works related to: the natural resources of the heritage will also be accepted.
