AWARDS TO ELITE ATHLETES OF THE MUNICIPALITY FOR THE YEAR 2025.

Official description of the call

Extract from the agreement of the Local Government Board dated July 28, 2025, by which the Municipality's Elite Athletes Awards are announced for the year 2025. First.- Beneficiaries. Beneficiaries of these awards may be elite athletes who demonstrate great sporting notoriety based on their results in official competitions, based on the high level of the athlete, whose main objectives are to develop an official provincial, regional, national or international sports competition recognized by the corresponding sports federation and who meet the following requirements within the application submission period: 1. Beneficiaries: a) Have the status of elite athlete on one of the lists of elite athletes of the Valencian Community published in the DOGV and that have not lost this condition for any of the causes provided for in article 6 of Decree 13/2006, of January 20, of the Consell de la Generalitat, on the elite athletes of the Valencian Community. b) Have a valid federative license from a federation of the Valencian Community, in the corresponding sports modality. c) Be registered in the municipality of Burjassot. d) Be up to date with your tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, the Territorial Treasury of Social Security and with the Burjassot City Council. Accreditation of compliance with the obligation to be up to date with tax obligations with the Burjassot City Council will be carried out ex officio by the City Council, through the issuance of a positive administrative certification, in accordance with article 9 of the General Subsidies Ordinance. e) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. f) Comply with the conditions established in article 8 of the General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Burjassot City Council. 2.Obligations: a) Comply with the obligations established in article 14 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies and article 8 of the General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Burjassot City Council. b) Provide adequate publicity of the public nature of the financing of the programs, activities, investments or actions of any type that are the subject of this subsidy, in compliance with the obligation contained in article 18.4 of Law 38/2003 General of Subsidies: a. The resolution granting the prize will include the publicity measures that will be carried out in compliance with the obligation to provide adequate public publicity for the financing of activities that are the subject of the subsidy, which may consist of the inclusion of the institutional image of the City Council, as well as legends related to public financing, on posters, commemorative plaques, printed materials, electronic or audiovisual media, in mentions made on social networks and the media, or in attendance at a public award ceremony. c) Accredit during the period established in this call the results referred to in article 6 of this call. Second.- Object. The purpose of the call is to reward the elite athletes of the municipality of Burjassot with economic incentives, in consideration of their sports results and the demands of their preparation, and as a contribution to achieving adequate technical training in their sports specialty. The activities subject to the subsidy will be those carried out by the athletes, taking into account the criteria established in article 6 of this call, from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025, charged to the budgets of this year. Third.- Regulatory bases. The amount of these subsidies will be made effective from the credit of the current budget of Municipal Item 341.48902 "Elite Sports Subsidies." The maximum amount allocated to these subsidies will be 12.0
