CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF FINANCIAL AID FOR SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES OF TAVERNES DE LA VALLDIGNA FOR THE YEAR 2025

Official description of the call

By Mayor's Resolution No. 2788 dated 09/09/2025, the call for financial aid for single-parent families for the year 2025 has been approved: A) REGULATORY BASES The Specific Bases for the granting of financial aid for single-parent families have been published in the Official Gazette of the Province No. 166 dated 09/01/2025. As provided in the second base, the call, management and granting of these aids will be governed by the provisions of the specific bases mentioned and the General Subsidies Ordinance of the City Council of Tavernes de la Valldigna definitively approved by plenary agreement on 01/16/2006 (BOP 03/04/2006), and in everything that is not provided for in them, by the following regulations: - Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies (hereinafter, LGS) - Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, by which the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies (hereinafter, RGS) is approved - Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations - Law 40/2015, of October 1, of the Legal Regime of the Public Sector - Current Budget Execution Bases - Any other regulatory provision that is applicable. B) BUDGET CREDIT, MAXIMUM TOTAL AND INDIVIDUALIZED AMOUNT The maximum total amount of aid is thirty thousand euros (€30,000), which will be made effective by the budget application of Chapter IV of the Expenditure Budget of the City Council of Tavernes de la Valldigna 2310.48007. The maximum amount to be awarded to each beneficiary will be €300, which will be determined in relation to the applications submitted by resolution of the competent body. C) OBJECT, CONDITIONS AND PURPOSE The purpose of this aid is to provide the single-parent families of Tavernes de la Valldigna with economic resources to meet the daily needs that arise and that represent a greater burden due to the fact of being a single-parent family for the purposes determined in these bases. D) PROCEDURE The ordinary procedure for processing and granting these aids will be through competitive competition, through the ordinary call modality, in which there will be a single granting resolution. Although competitive processing is determined as an ordinary form of granting subsidies, based on article 55 RGS, the establishment of a priority order among the applications submitted that meet the requirements is excepted, given that the credit entered in the corresponding call is sufficient, considering the number of anticipated applications E) REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION To be able to access the aid, the following are essential requirements: 1. That the members that make up the single-parent family are registered in Tavernes de la Valldigna for a minimum of one year from the moment the call is published, without prejudice to minor members who were born later or within the aforementioned period. 2. Be in possession of the single-parent family card issued by the Generalitat Valenciana. 3. Be up to date with tax obligations with the Tax Agency (AEAT), with the Social Security organizations and with the Tavernes de la Valldigna City Council. 4. Not incur any of the rest of the causes determined in article 13 of the LGS. 5. If you have been a beneficiary of the call immediately preceding the one in question, if any, you have justified the correct use of the subsidy and have not been subject to subsidy reimbursement procedures. To prove compliance with these requirements, it will be necessary to provide the documentation determined by the sixth base. In no case may the same family unit or its members be a beneficiary twice. F) COMPETENT BODY FOR THE INSTRUCTION AND RESOLUTION OF THE PROCEDURE The procedure for granting aid and its call will be initiated ex officio by the competent body. In this case, taking into account the residual jurisdiction established in article 21.1.s) of Law 7/1985. of April 2, Regulator of the Bases of the Local Regime, the Mayor-Presidency will be the competent body for the initiation, call and granting of aid, all of this without prejudice to the fact that delegations have been made to other
