RULES XIV “GUADASSUAR AT FIRA” POSTER CONTEST 2026

Official description of the call

On the occasion of the traditional Guadassuar fair, the Guadassuar City Council announces the XIV poster contest that will be governed by the following call approved with the regulatory bases for the granting of prizes of the Guadassuar City Council approved by mayoral resolution on September 24, 2021. 1. PROVISION THAT ESTABLISHES THE REGULATORY BASES This call, promoted by the Department of Culture, is governed by the General Subsidy Law and its implementing regulations, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21. 2. CONCESSION REGIME. The procedure assigned for granting aid will be on a competitive basis. 3. PARTICIPANTS AND NUMBER OF WORKS: All artists born in the Community may compete. The number of posters to be presented by each author will not exceed two, and it will be an essential condition that all the works presented are original, unpublished and have not previously participated in another competition. The following requirements must be met: a. Not having incurred any of the circumstances provided for in articles 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, which disqualify them from having the status of beneficiary of the subsidy. b. Be up to date with compliance with tax obligations with the State Treasury (AEAT) and with the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS). c. Be up to date with compliance with tax obligations with the Guadassuar City Council, which will be accredited through a responsible declaration. d. The third party maintenance sheet must be attached with the previous documentation. The City Council will be authorized to carry out the corresponding checks. Participation in these awards implies acceptance of the rules contained in this call by the participants. 4. CONTENT The following text must appear on the posters: Different spaces will be reserved within the poster where the logo of the Guadassuar City Council must be placed (downloadable on the City Council's website) and the data of the collaborating public entities. 5. OBJECT The purpose of the contest to design the poster announcing Guadassuar at the Fair is to stimulate the creativity of the participating artists and promote the dissemination of the Guadassuar fair, which will be held from January 21 to 23, 2026. 6. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The poster will be free technique and vertical whenever possible, reproduction in offset and four-color process (CMYK), leaving those made out of the competition. with gold, silver or phosphorescent inks. The presentation of these posters will have to be done on a frame or rigid support, in all techniques. The poster will have a resolution of 300dpi, making it possible to reproduce it in large format (according to printing needs). The work will also have to be presented in digital support (CD-ROM or pendrive) with the necessary computer support: file type, special fonts, fonts used, etc. In the case of presenting a design in digital technique, it will have to be presented in DINA3 size and if it is presented painted, the size will have to be 50x70cm of painted surface. 7. DEADLINE AND PLACE OF DELIVERY Poster presentation at the Cultural Center from September 22 to October 4, 2025. 8. IDENTIFICATION The posters will be unsigned, will have a motto on the back and will be accompanied by a sealed envelope with the same motto. Two envelopes must be presented: Envelope A: inside the personal data of the person participating will be included (name and surname, address, contact telephone number and e-mail) Envelope B: inside the computer support (USB memory) or painted poster will be included, according to the characteristics established in the call. Reformulations of requests are not allowed. 9. PRIZES A prize of 400 euros is established, an amount that will be awarded to the winner after the application of the corresponding tax withholding, according to current legislation. This authorization is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the resolution of the concession. The jury may declare the competition void if it considers that the works presented do not meet the quality conditions.
