CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES FOR THE PROMOTION OF OCCUPANCY WITH ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF EMPTY PREMISES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GETXO. LONJAK PIZTU 2025-2026.

Official description of the call

PURPOSE OF THE CALL: The purpose of this call is to establish the system for granting aid for the rental of premises that are located in the list attached in the Annex “Streets” and were or were going to remain empty. The premises must be used to carry out any economic activity in the municipality, except for the following: - Hospitality activities included in group 67 of the IAE classification, except for those that offer specialization in vegan and/or vegetarian products. - Lodging activities included in group 68. - Retail trade of any type of food and beverage products included in group 64, except those specialized in organic and/or bulk products. - Retail trade of fuels, fuels and lubricants included in group 655. - Financial activities, insurance, real estate activities and games included in groups 81, 82, 83 and 87. - Personal services included in group 972, hairdressing salons and beauty institutes - Health services, from group 94, except for section 944. - Education and research services of the group 93, except group 933. The economic activities (services and commerce) that are located in said premises, related to: - Cultural and creative industries: art, culture, design, crafts and creative industries, will receive additional points in the assessment. - Circular economy, including repair, recycling, second-hand and ecology. - Sports and Wellness Industries (psychology, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractors, massage therapists and yoga) and blue economy. - Technology. - Coworking and multifunctional spaces BUDGET CREDIT: The amount intended to cover these subsidies amounts to a total amount of €100,000.00 from the current municipal budget and €100,000.00 from the municipal budget for the year 2026. BENEFICIARIES: Beneficiaries of the aid provided for in this call will be natural persons (autonomous), communities of property, civil societies without legal personality, and individuals legally constituted legal entities that are in these cases: 1.- New economic activity. 2.- Opening of a new establishment that does not involve the transfer of an existing one in Getxo 3.- Economic activity that was carried out in a home or office buildings. ELIGIBLE AMOUNT: The subsidy will cover up to a maximum of twelve monthly payments for the rental of the premises where the activity is carried out, in accordance with the following: - 50% of the rental cost (without VAT) during the first 12 months of payment (with a maximum amount of €400/month per premises). -· The monthly amount granted will increase in cases in which scores are assigned in the assessment criteria of Art.6 in any of sections 4, 7 and 8; In such cases, the monthly amount of the subsidy granted will increase by €50 for each section that is fulfilled. The maximum increase is €150/month, and in these cases the subsidy may exceed 50% of the rental cost. APPLICATIONS: Each applicant (DNI/CIF) may only make one application. Any request for help must be processed electronically, through the Getxo City Council website www.getxo.eus APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINES: YEAR 2025: - From publication in the BOB until November 15, 2025. - Budget of €100,000 for all applications that are registered until November 15, 2025. Until the budget is exhausted as it stands. reflected in Art. 7 YEAR 2026: - January 1 to April 30, 2026. - May 1 to August 31, 2026 - September 1 to November 15, 2026 - Budget of €100,000 for all applications that are registered from January 1, 2026.
