Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Only natural persons, or groups of natural persons in the case of collaborative profiles, resident in Spain, with a public and open profile on one or more social networks and who, through these profiles and the publications they make, have demonstrated their commitment to the defense and dissemination of the fundamental right to the protection of personal data, may take part in the call. Second. Purpose: Its purpose is to reward profiles on social networks that: 1. Make an outstanding contribution to the promotion and dissemination among citizens of the principles of the fundamental right to the protection of personal data. 2. Contribute to promoting the awareness of those who handle personal information about their responsibilities in guaranteeing this right. Third. Regulatory Bases: Resolution of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, dated November 17, 2025, published on the website www.aepd.es. Room. Prize: The Prize for the dissemination of the fundamental right to the protection of personal data on social networks will consist of a financial award of three thousand euros (€3,000.00). The jury may propose the award of a second prize worth one thousand five hundred euros (€1,500.00). In the event that the jury declares the prize void, it may propose granting an additional second prize worth one thousand five hundred euros (€1,500.00). The winners will receive an honorable mention, through a diploma awarded for this purpose, as well as the dissemination of the winning works through the social networks of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Likewise, a trophy accrediting the prize won will be awarded to the winning candidate. Fifth. Application submission deadline: Applications must be submitted from the day following the date of publication of these bases in the Official State Gazette. The deadline for submitting works will end on January 31, 2026.
