Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Persons enrolled in doctoral studies at the UCLM who can prove that they are enrolled in any of the official doctoral programs of the UCLM in the second year or later of academic supervision in the academic year 2025-26, at the time of making the application, and who maintain enrollment in the official doctoral program in the academic year in which the research stay takes place, and who also meet the rest of the requirements indicated in the full text of the call, may apply for this call. Research staff in training hired by calls for predoctoral contracts that have a mobility aid in their call (FPI, Marie Curie, UCLM's own Plan, JCCM) will not be able to participate in this call. Students financed by FPU programs of the Ministry of Universities may apply for this aid as long as they have participated in the mobility calls corresponding to their call and have been denied. Second. Object. Financial funds are provided to stimulate collaboration and mobility of UCLM doctoral students with foreign Universities or Research Centers with the aim of encouraging doctoral theses presented by UCLM doctoral students to obtain the “International Doctorate” Mention, by awarding aid to finance predoctoral stays in foreign Universities and Research Centers of international reference, for the development of projects related to the topic of their doctoral thesis. The project to be developed may consist of basic research work, strategic research, applied research, experimental development or knowledge transfer, including innovation and advisory capacity, knowledge management and intellectual property rights and the exploitation of research results. The stay to be financed will have a minimum duration of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months. In general, stays of three months will be financed, although shorter stays may be granted. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 100,000 euros. The amounts of aid (exempt from personal income tax) will depend on the country of destination and will be those established in Annex II of the full text of the call. These aids will have a maximum of €1,500/month as an allowance for accommodation and maintenance, complemented by a travel fund with a maximum of €300 for European countries and €600 for the rest of the world. The participant will receive the aforementioned aid in two installments, 80% of the aid at the beginning of the stay, when the participant sends the proof of arrival signed by the host institution to the Vice-Rector for Scientific Policy, and the remaining 20% upon returning from the stay, when the participant delivers the documents required in section 9.3 of the full text of the call. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha. Stays can be carried out from the day after the publication of the final resolution granting this call until December 31, 2026. Sixth. Other data. The application form must be accompanied by the following documentation: 1. Invitation letter from the person in charge of the receiving Department or Center. 2. Report, with a maximum length of two pages, of the project that is intended to be developed during the period of the stay and approval of the thesis director. 3. Responsible declaration signed by the applicant, indicating not having completed a predoctoral stay abroad prior to submitting the application for this call, of a duration equal to or greater than 3 months. 4. Curriculum Vitae of the applicant, introducing the merits to be assessed according to Annex I, which must be documented. If this is not the case, they will not be taken into account. 5. The applicant must include in the computer application the curricular merits that will be taken into account in the evaluation of the applications in accordance with base 8 of the full text of the call.
