Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Natural persons, of legal age, residents of the municipality of Alginet who have suffered damage to their homes, furniture, household goods, appliances, vehicles necessary for work and loss of source of income, or to any type of enclosure of fields, agricultural or industrial farms or patios, caused by the floods and tornadoes that occurred on October 29, 2024, may be beneficiaries of this aid. registration in the municipality before October 29, 2024. The beneficiary status must prove the legal occupation of the property (property title, lease contract or other legally valid document). The status of beneficiary person will require possession of title, by any legally valid means, that proves ownership of the vehicle. The loss of income will be credited by justifying the cessation of your work activity carried out prior to the aforementioned date. Only one subsidy will be received for loss of income for each natural person who owns an establishment or farm, even if different premises, buildings or agricultural land are needed for its development. A single aid will be granted per affected home and vehicle. In accordance with article 13.2 of the LGS, and in view of the special nature of this aid, the beneficiaries of this aid are exempt from compliance with the requirements of being up to date with their tax obligations, before Social Security and the Municipal Treasury. Second. Purpose The purpose of these bases is to regulate the procedure and requirements for the direct granting of urgent aid to natural persons residing in the municipality of Alginet who have suffered damage to their habitual residence, furniture, belongings, appliances, vehicles or the loss of the source of income caused by the floods and tornadoes that occurred on October 29 as a consequence of the rain and wind storm caused by the DANA that began in the Valencian Community on October 28, 2024, in compliance of the obligation acquired by the City Council by accepting the conditional donation for a maximum amount of 4,250,000 euros, made by the Amancio Ortega Foundation for this precise need. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases have been approved by Mayor's Resolution no. 2081/2025, of December 11, and will be published in the National Subsidies Database, on the Notice Board and on the City Council website (www.alginet.es). Room. Amount The maximum amount intended to cover this aid amounts to a total of 2,231,820.55 euros, charged to budget application 130.48000, with the granting of aid being conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications Applications will be addressed to the Alginet City Council, within a period of one month from the day following the publication of the call for these aid in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, electronic notice board and the City Council's municipal website using the application form enabled for this purpose.
