The object of this call is the regulation of the XVI Jesús Domínguez Prize for theatrical texts, which aims to promote and encourage literary production in the field of theater, in accordance with the powers legally attributed to the Provincial Council of Huelva. Legal regime. General subsidy ordinance of the Provincial Council of Huelva (Official Gazette of the Province of Huelva no. 136 of July 18, 2016). (See more in section 2 of the call). Beneficiaries. 1. Natural persons, of legal age, national or foreign, who are interested in this call, may be eligible for the prize, provided that they have not been awarded in previous editions. 2. The number of works to be submitted is unlimited. 3. Works presented by a single person or by several authors in co-authorship will be admitted, in this case the provisions of article 7 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of April 12, which approves the consolidated text of the Intellectual Property Law, will be observed, and provided that all the people who comprise it meet the conditions required in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies. (See more in section 3 of the call). Texts. 1. They will be free on theme and written in the Spanish language, original and unpublished, that have not been published or performed, before or during the selection process and until the moment of the jury's decision, in any theater, whether chamber, rehearsal, official, commercial or in a dramatized reading format. A specific format (font, size, line spacing, margins, etc.) will not be required. 2. No type of translation, adaptation or recasting will be admitted, whether of a novel, film, television, radio, or theater, including works whose authorship corresponds to the person attending. The works may be submitted simultaneously to other competitions, but if they are awarded before the jury's decision for this award, they cannot be declared the winner. 3. The works will necessarily be presented in digital format through the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Huelva https://sede.diphuelva.es. The documents that are incorporated must be in PDF format, in accordance with the established technical requirements. 4. The texts will be identified with the title of the work and a motto, which will act as a pseudonym to guarantee the anonymity of the author. It will not be allowed to include a signature or any other identifying information. 5. Non-winning originals will not be returned, and will be destroyed after the Jury's ruling. Prize. Total budget and budget application. 1. A single prize of €6,000.00 is established for the winning text, which will be charged to the budget for the year 2026, within the organic unit where the Culture Service is located, taking into account the possibility contemplated in article 56 of Regulation 887/2006, of July 21, of the General Law of Subsidies and in relation to article 47 of the General Budget Law, on early processing, being conditional on the effective approval of the Budgets of the Provincial Council of Huelva for the year 2026 (definitive RC operation number: 220259000095). A selection procedure is established that will be carried out on a competitive basis in accordance with the provisions of article 22 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Submission of applications and deadlines. 1. The submission period will end 60 calendar days after publication in the BOP of Huelva, with the period beginning the day following the publication of the Presidential Resolution approving this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huelva. 2. The application for participation (Annex I) of the work will be submitted to the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Huelva, completing the procedures of the electronic procedure created for this purpose within the Contests section.
