Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and article 16.q) of Law 6/2011, of March 23, of Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the extract of the call for aid line 2 intended for local commerce and services is published in population centers in rural areas with special demographic difficulties, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in the Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Beneficiaries. Beneficiaries may be natural or legal persons, owners of legally established companies, domiciled in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, who maintain essential businesses and services (fixed or mobile, excluding weekly markets) in municipalities, smaller local entities or rural centers of less than 3,000 inhabitants with special demographic difficulties, under the conditions established in article 2 of the decree and in the call. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to subsidize, through a competitive bidding regime, operating expenses of local businesses and services during the 12 months following the concession, including costs such as water, electricity, gas, telecommunications, logistics and transportation, in accordance with the regulatory framework of the decree. Third. Regulatory bases. The call is governed by Decree 178/2025, of December 9, which establishes the regulatory bases for public subsidies intended to finance measures to combat depopulation in rural areas with special demographic difficulties within the "Yo Re-pueblo" Action Plan and the Territorial Cohesion Fund, and approves the first call for aid, available in the DOE and the Subsidies Portal of the Board of Extremadura. Fourth.- Amount. The maximum amount of the subsidy for Line 2 for local commerce and services may reach up to 5,000 euros per beneficiary, or the amount requested, as long as it does not exceed said limit. This aid will cover 100% of eligible expenses related to the operation of the business or service for a period of up to 12 months after the grant, including expenses for water, electricity, gas, telecommunications, logistics and transportation of goods. The total budget allocation assigned for this line amounts to 400,000 euros, charged to the budget application G/314A/77000, from the management center 23003, expense project 20220334 of the budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for the year 2026, fund TE31007001, from transfer from the State, approved at the Sectoral Conference Demographic Challenge, charged to the Cohesion and Territorial Transformation Funds of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be two months, counting from the day following the publication of this call and its extract in the Official Gazette of Extremadura. The beneficiary must present full justification of the expenses and payments actually made to the General Directorate of Rural World, Hunting, Fishing and Bullfighting, in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory bases and within the deadlines established in the call.
