2025 CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR SPORTS EVENTS

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, an extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans). By resolution of the mayor's office of December 23, 2025, the aforementioned call has been approved, with the following specifications: FIRST. OBJECT AND PURPOSE The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, with the purpose of promoting sport, the visibility and bringing together new sports. SECOND. REGULATORY BASES This call arises from the regulatory bases published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) No. 229, dated November 28, 2025, under the title: “Definitive approval of the Regulatory Bases for the granting of aid for Entities-Clubs-Sports corporations, sporting events and individual athletes.” In accordance with current regulations, the Regulatory Bases will not come into force during the vacatio legis period of 15 business days counting from their final approval. Once this deadline has been met and this call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), the Regulatory Bases will be in full force and the call will take effect, starting the calculation of the deadline for submitting applications from the day following the publication in the BOP THIRD. LINES OF ACTION The objective of this subsidy is: “Offer to all citizens the possibility of satisfying their sporting demands and encouraging healthy practice as a means of improving the quality of life at through collaboration with sports entities and federations. Promote the practice of sports, encourage sports associations, promote sports physical activity at different levels or modalities, promote the improvement and improvement of local athletes and collaborate with clubs, promoting development in their different projects. It is included in the Strategic Subsidy Plan in Strategic Line No. 3: “SPORTS” of the Azuqueca de Henares City Council. This line is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda: -Goal: 3 Health and well-being - Goal: 3.4 Reduction of non-communicable diseases and mental health FOURTH. FINANCING AND BUDGET ITEM The maximum amount allocated for this call for subsidies will be 15,000.00 euros, attributable to budget item 3420.489.21 of the municipal budget for the year 2025. FIFTH. REQUIREMENTS -Be domiciled in Azuqueca de Henares and registered in the Municipal Registry of associations. - Be up to date with compliance with tax and Social Security obligations. - Be up to date with the payment of tax obligations, or any other type, with the Azuqueca de Henares City Council. - Not be subject to the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of public subsidies, as provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. - Be up to date, if you have previously received subsidies from the Azuqueca de Henares City Council, in compliance with the obligations contracted by such concession, as well as in the reimbursement of subsidies, if applicable. SIXTH. DEADLINE AND FORM OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS Subsidy applications will be formalized according to the model included in the call, which must be signed by the interested party, the president of the association or by whoever has the duly accredited delegation granted, and must be addressed to the Mayor of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares.
