Agreement of the Governing Board, of December 22, 2025, by which subsidies are called for Elderly Entities, for the development of training, therapeutic and coexistence activities, annual 2026.

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: The following Associations and other private non-profit entities, legally constituted, that are located in the Province of Alicante may apply for a subsidy: 1) Associations and Federations of Retirees and Pensioners. 2) Other private non-profit entities, directed exclusively to the care of the Elderly, expressly included in their statutes, for carrying out activities intended for the users of their Centers. Non-profit Entities in which the decision-making and management power is concentrated in the professionals who carry out the different projects or activities carried out by the Entity, without representation of people from the affected group, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary of the subsidies regulated in these bases. Entities that apply for grants in the Call for grants addressed to Associations and other private non-profit entities, destined to carry out activities of a training, therapeutic and/or rehabilitative and awareness-raising nature, within the period between September 16, 2025 and September 15, 2026, may not apply for a subsidy in this Call. any subsidy from the Provincial Council or Agency dependent on it for the same object, activity or program. Second. Purpose: The following activities carried out between September 16, 2025 and September 15, 2026, in the Province of Alicante, may be subject to subsidy: Training activities: aimed at the acquisition of skills and knowledge of the participants. Therapeutic activities: aimed at improving personal abilities and skills through physical activity in its multiple modalities or the development of specific courses. Coexistence activities: aimed at promoting sociocultural development, strengthening interpersonal relationships and participation in their immediate social environment, promoting integration. Activities or services that have been contracted by public tender will not be subject to subsidy. Third. Regulatory bases: General Subsidies Ordinance of the Excma. Provincial Council of Alicante and Specific Rules included in the call. Room. Amount: This Call is approved in advance, and it and its bases are subject, in its entirety, to the approval and entry into force of the 2026 Provincial Budget, and to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit. This call is subject to the advance processing procedure, in accordance with article 56 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, so the granting of subsidies is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution. The subsidies granted will be allocated to budget application 20.2316.4830000 “Subsidies to Entities and Associations of Seniors for training, therapeutic and coexistence activities to be carried out in the Province of Alicante”, for an amount of 130,000 euros allocated for this purpose. The amount of the subsidy awarded may not exceed 1,600 euros, and may reach up to 100% of the amount requested for the activity, with the beneficiary entity being responsible for financing at its own expense, or with other subsidies or income, the part of the budget that exceeds the provincial subsidy. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: In compliance with the provisions of article 17 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the deadline for submitting applications will be twenty calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP through the National Subsidies Database, once the text of the call and the information required for its publication have been submitted to it. If the last day of the period is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, it will be moved to the next business day.
