Resolution of December 19, 2025, of the General Secretariat of Media, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of financial aid, aimed at companies that make periodic publications.

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First. Beneficiary entities 1. The beneficiary entities of this aid will be the journalistic companies registered in the Commercial Registry that have published periodic publications written entirely in Galician during the calendar year prior to the corresponding call. 2. The following are excluded from the granting of aid: a) Internal or institutional information bulletins. b) Publications of political, business, professional, union or public entity organizations. c) Publications that are distributed as a supplement, insert or jointly with another publication. d) Publications that, being subject to the control of the Diffusion Justification Office (OJD), do not present the certificate accrediting dissemination issued by said body. e) Publications that during the calendar year prior to the corresponding call have not been published in normative Galician. f) Those publications that had not been published during the calendar year prior to the corresponding call or do not maintain their activity at the time of granting the subsidy. Second. Object 1. In accordance with article 2 of Decree 103/1994, of April 21, which establishes aid aimed at periodical publications written entirely in normative Galician, the purpose of these financial aid is the expansion and dissemination of normative Galician and culture in the tasks of journalistic information. 2. The procedure for granting these subsidies will be processed on a competitive basis. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases are established in the Resolution of December 19, 2025, of the General Secretariat of Media, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of economic aid, under a competitive competition regime, aimed at companies that produce periodic publications written entirely in Galician and are convened for the year 2026, through advance processing of expenses (procedure code PR858A). Room. Amount The granting of the aid regulated in this resolution will be financed from application 04.03.461A.470.0 of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community in force in the year 2025, for an amount of 40,000 euros, without prejudice to subsequent variations produced as a consequence of greater budgetary availability, in the terms of article 31.2 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, subsidies from Galicia. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be one month, counting from the day following the publication of this resolution in the Official Gazette of Galicia.
