RULES AND CALL FOR GENERAL SUBSIDIES FOR THE STERILIZATION OF DOMESTIC CATS FROM THE ENVIRONMENT STRATEGIC LINE OF THE STRATEGIC SUBSIDIES PLAN OF THE MARRATXÍ CITY COUNCIL FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Individuals registered in the municipality of Marratxí and owners of cats may apply for a subsidy. Only one application per address or cadastral reference will be accepted. In the event of registration of more than one application per address or cadastral reference, only the first of them will be taken into account. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to promote, through the granting of these subsidies, the sterilization of domestic cats, the responsibility of their owners, in accordance with Law 7/2023, of March 28, on the protection of the rights and well-being of animals. These actions are also in accordance with the strategic objective of the sustainable management of feline colonies authorized on public roads, taking into account that the failure to sterilize domestic cats can negatively affect the management of feline colonies (fights, female pregnancy and unwanted appearance of litters...). Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Marratxí City Council. Room. Amount. The total amount allocated to this call is €2,000 from budget item 170.00.48900. Distribution criteria: the subsidy will be awarded based on the score obtained by each person attending in the event that the amounts requested exceed the amount in the previous section. Fifth. Application submission deadline. It will be TEN WORKING DAYS counting from the day following the publication of these bases on the municipal website.
