BDNS (Identif.): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, and in article 16.q of Law 6/2011, of March 23, of Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted at the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. - Call. Call for 2026 applications for the grant of aid and payment of the intervention “Compensation payment for mountain areas” established in the CAP Strategic Plan 2023 - 2027. Second. - Object. Compensation payments for mountain areas are intended to compensate, in whole or in part, male and female farmers for the disadvantages to which agricultural production is exposed due to specific physical or other limitations within their area of ​​activity. This compensation must allow them to continue with the use of agricultural land, the conservation of natural space, as well as the maintenance and promotion of sustainable agricultural systems in the affected areas in order to avoid the abandonment of land and the loss of biodiversity. Annual premium per hectare of compensable area located in an area classified as a mountain area. Third. Beneficiary Requirements. 1. Legal persons or natural persons may request these payments, the latter considered individually and not as groups of people, as well as the persons who own a shared ownership agricultural holding provided for in article 34.2.c) of Law 6/2015, of March 24, Agrarian of Extremadura, who are owners of agricultural holdings that have them registered in their name, in the Registry of Agricultural Holdings, or are collected in the mandatory update of the aforementioned Registry, and with plots that meet the established requirements. 2. It will be granted to active farmers, who are legal entities or natural persons, the latter according to the delimitation established in the previous section of this article, who, in turn, meet the condition of non-pluriactive farmer or non-pluriactive farmer who, not falling into any of the cases regulated in article 12.2 of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Community Subsidies Autonomous Community of Extremadura, request it in a timely manner. 3. If the aid application corresponds to a legal entity, all its members must meet the status of non-pluriactive farmers, as well as meet the eligibility requirements on an individual basis. In the same way, they must not be involved or involved in any of the assumptions regulated in article 12.2 of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and they must make the request in a timely manner. 4. When the aid application corresponds to a shared ownership operation, at least one of its co-owners must meet the condition described in the first paragraph of the previous section, as well as meet the eligibility requirements; For the purposes of this aid, the income from the shared ownership operation will be counted as agricultural. Room. Farm requirements. 1. The farm must be located, totally or partially, in a municipality classified as a mountain area (Annex I of the Order of February 20, 2023, DOE No. 37, of February 23, 2023). In the event that part of the farm's surface is outside mountain areas, aid will only be granted to the area belonging to said areas, and the area outside of these areas will not be entitled to aid. 2. Only areas located in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura will receive aid. Fifth. Regulatory bases. Order of February 20, 2023 (DOE no. 37, of February 23, 2023), which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to areas with natural limitations or other specific limitations in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura by virtue of the interventions established in the CAP Strategic Plan 2023/2027.
