Official description of the call

Extract from Resolution number 619, dated February 13, 2026, of Ms. Nuria Cabrera Méndez, Counselor of the Insular Area of ​​Finance, Economic Promotion, Human Resources, Sports and Sustainable Mobility, which calls for, for the 2026 year, the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime for the launch of business initiatives. First. Beneficiaries: The status of beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in these Bases will be the natural persons, legal entities or group thereof that promote business projects and that meet the following requirements: ? Establish your location and fiscal and social domicile on the Island of Fuerteventura. Each applicant may only receive a single aid in each call. In no case will more than one request per petitioner be attended to. ? Likewise, groups of natural or legal persons, public or private, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets that, although lacking legal personality, can carry out the projects, activities or behaviors or are in the situation that motivates the granting of the subsidy, may access the status of beneficiary. ? In the case of groups of natural or legal persons, public or private without personality, the execution commitments assumed by each member of the group must be expressly stated, both in the application and in the granting resolution, as well as the amount of subsidy to be applied by each of them, who will also be considered beneficiaries. In any case, a representative or sole representative of the group must be appointed, with sufficient powers to fulfill the obligations that, as beneficiary, correspond to the group. The group may not be dissolved until the limitation period provided for in articles 39 and 65 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, has elapsed. ? Be considered a small company, that is, one that has less than 50 employees and an annual turnover of no more than ten million euros. ? Newly incorporated natural or legal persons or those that have started their activity from August 14, 2025 to October 31, 2026, this being the period of execution of said activity. The start of the activity will be understood as the date set in form 036 or 037 of the census declaration of registration in business, professional and/or artistic activities. ? Be registered, at least 12 months prior to the date of publication in the Official Gazette of Las Palmas (B.O.P.) of the corresponding call, in one of the six municipalities of the island. ? Initiatives whose projects presented at the time of the application meet the conditions of technical, economic and financial viability. ? That the business activity has not previously been carried out under another ownership or pre-existing legal form. ? Generate jobs through registrations to the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers and/or registrations of workers with employment contracts. In both cases, these workers must carry out their activity exclusively in the new company, and situations in which the person occupying the new job carries out another, or the same type of activity in another company or institution for which they contribute to the general regime or special Social Security regimes, are not considered job creation. ? In the case of a legal entity, consider the activity subject to subsidy in the corporate purpose. Second. Purpose: To finance new business initiatives part of the expenses of constitution, start-up and start of the activity, Social Security contribution expenses in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers of the promoters and expenses of initial provision in new fixed assets of the productive system. Third. Regulatory Bases: Approved by the full body of the corporation on 05/23/2025 and published as final in the B.O.P. number 70, dated 06/11/2025. Room.
