IND/5/2026, OF FEBRUARY 13, CALLING FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES TO ASSOCIATIONS AND COOPERATIVES OF CONSUMERS AND USERS REGISTERED IN THE REGISTER OF CONSUMER ASSOCIATIONS OF CANTABRIA FOR THE YEAR 2026

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Associations and cooperatives of consumers and users that meet the following requirements may obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidies: - Be registered in the Registry of Associations of Consumers and Users of Cantabria. - That the premises open to the public from where they provide information and advice to the consumer is located in Cantabria. In the same way, actions to disseminate the protection and defense of consumers and users must be developed in Cantabria. - Not incur any of the causes provided for in article 26.2 of the Cantabria Law 1/2006, of March 7, on the Defense of Consumers and Users. - Participate in the Cantabria Consumer Arbitration System. - Accredit a minimum of 50 active individual partners residing in Cantabria. - Not being in any of the circumstances established in article 12 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies. Second. Object. The purpose of this order is to call for the year 2026 subsidies to finance current expenses incurred by associations and cooperatives of consumers and users registered in the Registry of Consumer Associations of Cantabria that the Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Commerce calls for annually, in the exercise of the activities included in the regulatory bases of this call. Third. Regulatory bases. This call will be governed by the provisions of Order IND/1/2022, of February 4, which establishes the regulatory bases for subsidies for associations and cooperatives of consumers and users registered in the Registry of consumer associations of Cantabria (BOC, number 30, of February 14, 2022). Room. Amount. 1. The financing of the expenditure regulated in this order will be carried out under budget application 12.07.492M.481, of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for 2025, extended for 2026, up to the amount of 60,000 euros. 2. The budget credit will be distributed as follows: a) 25% of the credit will be distributed among all consumer associations and cooperatives for attending the call, assigning the same amount to all applicants, or, where appropriate, a maximum of up to the amount requested. b) 65% of the credit will be used to finance the current expenses of the consumer information and advice offices in open offices. to the public in Cantabria referred to in section five a), distributing said amount in accordance with the valuation criteria established in section eight of this order. c) The remaining 10% of the credit will be used to finance the current expenses incurred by the dissemination actions referred to in section five b), in accordance with the valuation criteria established in section eight of this order. 3. In the event that the budget allocation provided for in letter a) of the previous section has not been exhausted among the competing parties, it will be applied to the program described in letter c). In the event that there is a remainder in this last program, it will be allocated to the program described in letter b). Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days, counted from the day following the publication of this extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria.
