Official description of the call
First. Purpose The purpose of this call for subsidies is to promote the identification and castration of domestic cats, a measure to promote and encourage compliance with the municipal ordinance on the welfare and possession of animals that live in the human environment. Two lines of aid are established; LINE 1. Help to implant the identification chip. LINE 2. Help to promote sterilization. Second. Beneficiaries The owners of pets (cats) registered in the municipality can be beneficiaries of the aid. Persons who meet any of the prohibitions established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will not be able to benefit from the aid provided for in this call. Third. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases for the granting of financial aid aimed at promoting the identification and sterilization of domestic cats by their owners. Room. Amount The budget allocation for this call is ten thousand euros (€10,00.00), charged to municipal budget item 203170048000000, of the Calvià City Council Budget for the year 2026. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is twenty calendar days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands.
