Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Town councils with less than 50,000 inhabitants that have a public library. Second. Object. Encourage reading promotion actions aimed at all residents, with special attention to groups with difficulties accessing reading, in any of the official languages of Spain, as well as those with legal recognition in the statutes of autonomy of the Autonomous Communities, and carried out by public libraries in municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants. Third. Regulatory bases. Order CUL/2912/2010, of November 10, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies from the Ministry of Culture on a competitive basis. Room. Amount. The total amount of the call is 1,100,000 euros. The ten libraries that have obtained the best score will receive a prize of 10,000 euros. The next 360 projects in order of score will receive a prize for an individual amount of 2,777.77 euros. In total, up to a maximum of 370 prizes will be given. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Fifteen business days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the "Official State Gazette".
