Official description of the call

First. Object. The subsidies to be processed, on a competitive basis, are aimed at the rehabilitation of premises in the old town of the city of Cuenca. These subsidies are granted on a competitive basis, their granting requiring the comparison, in each of the procedures, of a possible plurality of applications, and will be in accordance with their regulatory Bases. Second. Beneficiaries. 1. The promoters of works who have the status of legal owners or holders of any right of use over the premises, and their tenants when they can carry out the works, in accordance with the applicable legislation, may be beneficiaries, and therefore apply for aid for the rehabilitation of premises, provided that said premises are open to the public at the time of the application and they undertake to keep it open for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of final granting of the aid. 2. Likewise, the owners of premises without activity may apply for aid when they undertake to carry it out in said premises in their own name or under lease, for the development of an activity of those provided for in these Bases, within a period of six months from the completion of the works and for a minimum period of twelve months, counting from the date of final granting of the aid. In these cases, the granting of aid will be conditional on the effective occupation of the premises within said period, which may be extended up to one year at the request of the interested party when there is a duly justified cause without, consequently, proceeding to the payment of the subsidy as long as they are not effectively occupied. 3. The owners of premises or holders of any right of use over them may be beneficiaries of aid for the rehabilitation of common elements of buildings, provided that the same requirements established in one of the two previous points of this same article are met. 4. In any case, the use to which the premises are intended at the time of submitting the application or the use to which they are intended once rehabilitated and during the following twelve months in which the beneficiary undertakes to keep them active, must be included within those indicated in Annex I of these Bases. 5. When the premises are under co-ownership, pro-indiviso, community of owners or community of property, a legal representative must be appointed. 6. In the case of actions on the common elements of buildings under the horizontal property regime, the president of the legally constituted community of owners will act as representative. In the absence of this, the owners will appoint a legal representative by agreement between them. 7. When the applicants are legal entities, the person designated as such in the corresponding deeds will act as representative. Third. Regulatory Bases The Regulatory Bases for the subsidies to be granted on a competitive basis by the Consortium of the City of Cuenca for the rehabilitation of premises in the old town of Cuenca, are approved by Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Consortium of the City of Cuenca dated February 19, 2024, and published in the Official State Gazette number 65 dated March 14, 2024. https://www.boe.es/diario_boe/txt.php?id=BOE-A-2024-5044 Fourth.
