Approval of the specific rules and call for the Maria Marti Short Fiction and Poetry Prize 2026

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Beneficiaries of the prizes are all those people who meet the requirements established in point 3 of the Rules of the call. Second. Object. The purpose of these rules and the call is to regulate the criteria and procedure for the presentation, processing, granting and collection of the Maria Martí Short Fiction and Poetry Prize, convened by the Riells i Viabrea City Council with the aim of promoting literary creation in the Catalan language and making visible the contribution that women have made to the municipality. Third. Regulatory bases. They are the specific regulatory bases approved by Mayor's Decree 2026DECR000524 dated 04/24/2026. Room. Of the prize. The following categories and prizes are established: Poetry Category 1 prize: €400 Short narrative category 1 prize: €400 2 prize: €200 The prizes will be paid by bank transfer in favor of the account that the winning person provides to the organization, with the corresponding tax withholdings according to current regulations. The prize is indivisible. Fifth. Deadline, form and place for submitting applications. The submission period will end on May 31, 2026. The works must be submitted in paper format and in a closed envelope without any writing or mark. The envelopes must be delivered to the Pompeu Fabra Library in Riells i Viabrea within its opening hours.
