Official description of the call

FIRST.- Regulatory Bases This call is governed by the Specific Ordinance regulating subsidies for the acquisition of electric vehicles and charging stations on the island of La Gomera, published in the BOP of Santa Cruz de Tenerife no. 36, dated Wednesday, March 25, 2026. SECOND.- Budget credit The granting of these subsidies will be made from the budget of the 2026 annuity and under the budget application 42200/4890000 of the general budgets of the corporation for the year 2026, the total amount of which amounts to €500,000.00. The amount planned for each subsidy line is distributed as follows: Line 1. Acquisition of electric vehicles €380,000.00 Line 2. Acquisition of hybrid or electric vehicles for road passenger transport professionals €70,000.00 Line 3. Development of infrastructure for vehicle recharging €50,000.00 In the event that there is excess credit in some of the lines may be complemented by the rest of the lines interchangeably, and depending on the requests of each one. The granting of these subsidies is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time the granting resolution is issued. The credits assigned to the call may be increased by the amount of €400,000 in the terms provided for in article 58 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, prior to a favorable report from the General Intervention and processing of the appropriate expenditure file, before resolving the granting of the subsidy, without this implying opening a new period for submitting applications. The effectiveness of the additional amount will be conditional on the declaration of credit availability and, where appropriate, prior approval of the appropriate budget modification, at a time prior to the resolution of the granting of the subsidy. THIRD.- Maximum amount The maximum amount of the subsidy for lines 1 and 2 may not exceed 40% of the market price of the vehicle1, and no beneficiary may obtain a subsidy greater than the amounts indicated below for each line: LINE 1 Up to €12,000 per passenger vehicle, van or light truck (categories M1 and N1). Up to €3,000 per vehicle (category L3e, L6e, L7e). LINE 2 Up to €10,000 per passenger vehicle that has, in addition to the driver's seat, a maximum of eight seats (category M1). Up to €30,000 for discretionary passenger transport vehicles that have, in addition to the driver's seat, more than eight seating places (category M2 and M3) The maximum amount of the subsidy for line 3 will have the following limits: LINE 3 Type of installation Eligible cost Maximum eligible amount Installation of charging point for garages of vehicle fleets up to 50% €1,500.00 per installation Installation of charging points in parking spaces of single-family homes for private use up to 60% €700.00 per installation Installation of charging points in a community garage, for private use in residential buildings up to 60% €1,500.00 per installation If the charging point is acquired by an individual, the market price will be with the IGIC included, while, if the acquisition is made by a legal entity (company) or natural person (self-employed), the IGIC will not be subsidized as this is not passed on to its buyer as a higher expense. For the three lines of subsidy, only one application per beneficiary will be accepted. FOURTH.- Object, conditions and purpose The purpose of this call is to establish the rule that must govern the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime, of subsidies intended for the acquisition of electric vehicles and charging stations on the island of La Gomera. The ultimate purpose of these specific bases is to promote the transformation of the Island's vehicle fleet that uses fossil fuels towards those that are powered by alternative energies such as electric vehicles and the development of charging infrastructure for these, thus contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint and improvement in air quality, promoting the sustainable development of the Island and promoting sustainable urban mobility.
