Call for the Management and Conservation of Natural Spaces (GCEN), fiscal year 2026.

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans): First. Beneficiaries. Municipalities of the province of Valencia. Supra-municipal proposals or proposals from local entities with a territorial scope lower than the municipal level will not be accepted. Second. Object. 1. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of financial aid, for current expenditure under a competitive competition regime, until the available credit is exhausted, for the management and conservation of natural spaces in the year 2026. 2. Three modalities are established within this line of aid, depending on the territorial area in which the actions for which the subsidy is requested are intended to be carried out: 1. Modality A: Actions in Municipal Natural Sites. 2. Modality B: Actions on the banks of river natural spaces, wetlands or in natural spaces with tourist, environmental and/or ecological value. 3. Modality C: Elimination of uncontrolled landfills in the natural spaces contemplated in modalities A and B. Modalities A, B and C are not exclusive. Third. Regulatory bases. Published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia number 101, dated May 29, 2017, and its modifications (BOP no. 174 of September 8, 2017, BOP no. 185 of September 24, 2020, BOP no. 107 of June 5, 2023, BOP no. 24 of February 5, 2025 and BOP No. 28 of February 11, 2026). Room. Financing and amount. The total amount available is €1,910,000: - €400,000 for modality A. - €1,310,000 for modality B. - €200,000 for modality C In the event that any of the modalities does not exhaust the total amount assigned, the excess credit may be redistributed to the modality that presents the largest budget deficit Fifth. Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 30 business days, starting from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia (BOP) through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS). No extensions will be granted for the submission of applications. Entities that do not process their application within the deadline will be excluded from the Sixth call. Payment of the subsidy The following payments on account will be made: • 85% once the applications have been assessed and the concession agreement published, unless expressly waived. • The remaining 15% will be paid after approval of the justification. Seventh. Deadlines for execution and justification The deadline for execution ends sixteen months from the day following the publication of the concession agreement, and the justification must be provided within a maximum period of two months from the end of the deadline for execution of the subsidized actions.
