Call for non-profit entities of a social nature that carry out social activities in the demarcation of Tarragona 2026

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3b and 20.8ª of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and in the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Tarragona: DIPUTACIÓN DE TARRAGONA People and Talent Area Economic Management and Payroll Unit The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Tarragona in a session on June 2, 2026 has approved the following call. First. Beneficiaries Social, non-profit entities that carry out activities and/or programs in the field of promoting community well-being and public health, in order to protect and improve the health of the population, the quality of life and social cohesion in Camp de Tarragona, in Les Terres de l'Ebre and in El Baix Penedès. Entities must be registered and classified in the Registry of entities of the Department of Justice and Democratic Quality of the Generalitat of Catalonia, in the fields of care, teaching, training and research, promotion and defense of civic, social and personal rights, and health. Entities that are not registered in the Registry of entities of the Department of Justice and Democratic Quality of the Generalitat of Catalonia in any of the above areas are excluded from this call, given that they may be beneficiaries of other lines of subsidies from the Provincial Council of Tarragona. Second. Purpose Improve the quality of life and social cohesion and focus on people and their social needs, as well as promote their capabilities and abilities, with the ultimate goal that the population can exercise greater control over their health and make their lifestyles healthier. Third. Subsidized activities and execution period The call is structured into two lines of subsidies: 1. Social actions for the promotion of well-being and social cohesion: this line aims to support projects and action programs aimed at improving individual and community well-being, reducing social inequalities and strengthening social cohesion, focusing on people and their social needs. 2. Public health actions and promotion of healthy lifestyles: this line aims to support projects and programs in the field of public health, aimed at protecting and improving the health of the population, preventing diseases and promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging people and communities to increase control over their own health. The period to execute the subsidized actions begins on January 1, 2026 and ends on December 31, 2026. Fourth. Regulatory bases General bases for subsidies of the Provincial Council of Tarragona published in the BOP of Tarragona on February 27, 2019. Fifth. Budget credit and maximum total amount The maximum total amount of the subsidies called is estimated and is 1,600,000.00 euros, charged to the budget application 8000-231-48001 of the budget for the year 2026 – 800,000.00 euros, and of the budget for the year 2027 – 800,000.00 euros. The granting of the subsidies included in this call is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the year 2027. In addition, the maximum amount may be increased in accordance with the applications received and budget availability. Sixth. Individualized amount of the subsidy The total credit available for the call is distributed among all applications received and accepted for processing and is subsidized up to 90% of the eligible budget and up to the maximum amount of 20,000 euros per beneficiary and line. Seventh. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications begins the day after the publication of this call in the BOPT and ends one month from the date of publication. Eighth. Application submission form It is mandatory to submit the grant application and the rest of the documentation through the specific electronic procedure enabled at: https://seuelectronica.dipta.cat, electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Tarragona. A maximum of one application can be submitted per entity and NIF.
