SUBSIDIES FOR EDUCATION PROJECTS FOR COOPERATION FOR THE YEAR 2023

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiary entities: Non-profit organizations and institutions, foundations or non-governmental associations that have their headquarters or delegation in Cabra (Córdoba) at least one year in advance from the date of publication of the call. Second.- Purpose: Promote citizen education and awareness activities in the municipality of Cabra, in accordance with the United Nations Resolution, related to economic and social development in harmony with the environment, the culture of peace, human rights, and equality between men and women; democratic participation, understanding, tolerance and solidarity; participatory communication and free circulation of information and knowledge, international peace and security, as well as knowledge of the reality of impoverished countries. It is necessary to carry out awareness-raising actions that enable the citizens of our municipality to know the social reality of third world countries, so that future generations move towards a more sustainable, humane and inclusive future. Third.- Regulatory Bases: Agreement of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Social Welfare Board, in a session held on April 18, 2022. The full text of the aforementioned Bases was published in BOP Córdoba No. 98 of 05/24/2022. Fourth.-Amount: The total financial amount of this call for subsidies amounts to €4,000.00, which will be attributed to budget application 48901 2316 of the Budget of the Municipal Board of Social Welfare. The Municipal Social Welfare Board will have the power not to exhaust the allocated credits, if the projects presented do not meet the minimum requirements. Projects presented by Non-Governmental Organizations for Development may receive subsidies of up to 80% of their total cost, with the applicant entity having to contribute 20% of the total amount of the activity subsidized by the Municipal Social Welfare Board with its own funds. The amount of the subsidy may in no case be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, income aid or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity or implies a decrease in the amount of the own financing required, where appropriate, to cover the subsidized project. No Organization will receive more than 50% of the total amount of this call. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications: 30 calendar days, counted from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province. Sixth.- Documentation to be attached: The projects participating in this call must necessarily be accompanied by the following documentation: a) Application addressed to the President of the Municipal Board of Social Welfare of the Ilmo. Cabra City Council in which the name of the project for which the subsidy is requested appears, its amount, the amount of the subsidy requested, the current account number and bank entity for the purposes of transferring the requested subsidy and the index of the documentation provided. Said request will be signed by the person who holds the legal representation of the Organization, providing a copy of the D.N.I., as well as the record of election of the Book authorized by the corresponding official body or, where appropriate, the express delegation granted by the competent body of the Organization. b) Express declaration of responsibility of the person who holds the legal representation of the Association, stating: That the requirements are met to obtain the status of beneficiary of a public subsidy, in accordance with the General Law of Subsidies and those required in article 3 of these bases to be able to be beneficiaries of these subsidies. That the requesting entity does not have pending justification of subsidies previously received by the Cabra City Council or by its Municipal Social Welfare Board, provided that the period for justifying them has already expired. That the beneficiary entity is up to date with its tax and Social Security obligations. c) In the case of a project carried out by several NGOs, the agreement that indicates and regulates the coordination and responsibilities of the various parties, as well as the person responsible for the project.
