CITY COUNCIL GRANT - FIGHT, CONTROL AND POSSIBLE ERADICATION OF THE ASIAN HORNET OR BLACK WASP YEAR 2023

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the full text is published on the Provincial Council's website (www.dipuleon.es Rural Development and Environment – ​​Aid and subsidies). First. Beneficiaries: The City Councils of the province of León that carry out some of the actions included in the first base and that meet the requirements established in the third base of the BGS may obtain the status of beneficiaries of this call. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is the development of a strategy for management, control and possible eradication of the Asian hornet in the province of León. In accordance with the provisions of art. 8.1 of the LGS, this call is integrated into the Strategic Subsidies Plan approved by the Provincial Council of León by plenary agreement dated February 22, 2023 and through the granting of these subsidies, the achievement of some of the strategic objectives of the Plan will be achieved, such as the improvement of plant and forest health and public health in general, as well as the eradication of a pest that will increase the production of beekeepers. Third. Regulatory Bases: The subsidies subject to this call will be governed, in addition to the provisions of these bases, by the provisions of the General Bases regulating the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime of the Provincial Council of León, approved by agreement of the Plenary Session of February 27, 2008, and published in BOP No. 45/2008, of March 5 (hereinafter BGS). Likewise, the provisions of the OGS, the LGS, the Regulations that develop it and the remaining administrative law rules will apply, failing which the private law rules will apply. Room. Amount: Total amount: 30,000 ¿. The aid will be 90% of the budget amount presented for carrying out the activity, with a limit of €5,000 per applicant. In the event that there is not enough funding to grant 90%, this percentage will be reduced depending on budget availability. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications: Twenty business days counted from the day following the date of publication of this extract in the BOP of León. Sixth. Other information of interest: - Submission of applications. ¿ Electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council https://sede.dipuleon.es/, in the Rural Development and Environment section - aid and subsidies. - Documentation to submit with the application. ¿ Annex I and descriptive report of the activities that are intended to be carried out during the period of execution of the activity, which will include the budget of expenses and income to be carried out. - Eligible expenses. ¿All expenses derived from activities aimed at the fight and control of the Asian hornet, including the elements of physical, mechanical, biological and biocidal control, as well as equipment, training of personnel and technical assistance for its application and release, excluding in any case investment expenses. - Justification. - Until December 15, 2023, providing the documentation provided for in the tenth base of the call. - Payment method. - It will be carried out once the expense has been justified and compliance with the requirements indicated in art. 18 of the OGS and in base 5 of the BGS. - Compatibility with other aid.- Yes. - Body competent to resolve. - Deputy delegate of Rural Development of the Provincial Council of León.
