Predoctoral contract for the training of research personnel. This call is financed by the State Research Agency and co-financed by the European Union.

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. University graduates who meet the requirements of this call may be beneficiaries of this contract, under the direction or co-direction of a thesis who has the status of Principal Investigator of the reference research project PID2022-139739NB-I00 in which the predoctoral contract will be framed. To be admitted to this call it will be necessary to meet the requirements listed below. 1. Be enrolled or admitted in a doctoral program at the University of La Rioja for the 2023-2024 academic year, at the time of submission of the application. Those people who, at the time of submission of the application, are not enrolled or admitted to a doctoral program at the University of La Rioja, are able to do so on the date on which the contract is formalized. If at the date of signing the contract the candidate is not enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of La Rioja, the contract cannot be formalized. If this circumstance occurs, you must expressly indicate it in your request. 2. Have obtained a bachelor's degree, engineer, architect, university graduate or university master's degree, or the training period of the doctoral program. In the case of applicants with studies completed abroad, having obtained the homologation credential or the certificate of equivalence to the degree and official university academic level or, where appropriate, having initiated the corresponding procedure, as long as on the date of formalization of the predoctoral contract, the homologation of the degree or the declaration of equivalence has been obtained. Second. Object. 1. The purpose of this call is the training of research personnel who wish to obtain a doctorate degree at the University of La Rioja, linked univocally to a research project financed by the reference research project PID2022-139739NB-I00, within the framework of the State Program to Promote Scientific-Technical Research and its Transfer, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research. 2021-2023, through predoctoral contracts launched under Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation. 2. In turn, the purpose of the aid is to finance, for the candidate hired in this call, the employment contract during a postdoctoral orientation period (hereinafter POP) lasting one year, of the doctoral student who obtains the doctorate degree before the start of the last year of the aid. Third. Regulatory bases. Order CIN/1025/2022, of October 27, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of public aid corresponding to various programs and subprograms of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, whose management corresponds to the State Research Agency (Official State Gazette of 10/27/2022). Number and Amount of aid The number of newly awarded predoctoral contracts called through this call is one. The remuneration of the predoctoral contract may not be less than 56% of the salary established for the equivalent categories in the collective agreements of its scope during the first two years, 60% during the third year and 75% during the fourth year. Nor may it be less than the minimum interprofessional salary established each year, according to art. 27 of the Consolidated Text of the Fifth Workers' Statute Law. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of La Rioja. Sixth. Other data. The presentation of applications will be addressed to the Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalization and must be submitted using the forms established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
