The Local Government Board of the Hon. Calahorra City Council, in a session held on February 16, 2026, approved the regulatory bases and call for a subsidy to finance notary and property registration expenses for young people who acquire their first home in the municipality of Calahorra. First. Object. The purpose of these Rules is to regulate the granting of aid for the financing of Notary fees and registration in the Property Registry to young people who acquire their first home, provided that it is located in the municipality of Calahorra. Second: Beneficiaries. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who purchase their first home in Calahorra may be beneficiaries of the aid regulated by this call. Third. Budget credit. 1 The credit assigned to this concept will be allocated to the corresponding budget item of the City Council's expenditure budget of 150/48100 (Aid for young people. 1st housing subsidy). 2. The subsidies granted and/or approved each year may not exceed the budgetary availability, which for this year is 30,000 euros. 3. Aid will be granted in strict order of submission of applications. The granting of subsidies will be conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient budgetary credit, and will be granted until the available credit is exhausted. The exhaustion of the credit will be declared by resolution of the competent body. As of the date of effect of said resolution, the granting of new subsidies will not proceed, and those applications that have been submitted later will be rejected due to insufficient budgetary credit, as well as those that, even having been presented prior to the aforementioned resolution, cannot be attended to because the limit of available credit has been reached, all by means of a reasoned resolution. The expenses considered eligible will be those paid to the authorizing Notary and to the Calahorra Property Registry, after proof of effective payment and without taxes of any type paid for this concept being considered as such. Conditions: a. The purchase or declaration of new construction must be formalized in a public deed between June 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026, both dates inclusive, and must also be registered in the Property Registry. b. That the corresponding tax settlement has been previously carried out. c. That all owners of the home are 18 years old and do not exceed 35 years of age at the time of submission of the application. 3. Exclusions: All non-urban properties are excluded from the application of this call. Fifth. Applications, documentation and submission deadline. Applications to obtain the subsidy regulated in this call may be submitted from the day following the publication of their text in the Official Gazette of La Rioja until October 30, 2026. Sixth. Procedure for its granting. The evaluation of the applications submitted will be carried out in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulatory Bases. Seventh. Applicable regulations.
