About Civika

About Civika

Civika was created so that finding public aid does not require first understanding the language of the Administration.

Our mission

We are an independent project that transforms complex public calls into easy-to-explore sheets. We want a person to be able to quickly know if aid may interest them and where they should check or request it.

What we do

We compile calls from the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), we organize their fields and highlight the most practical information: recipients, territorial scope, budget, deadline and official links.

The information in plain language is a reading aid, not a legal interpretation or a replacement of the regulatory bases.

How we take care of quality

  • We update the data periodically.
  • We identify the source and link to the official file.
  • We show "Not available" when the source does not provide data.
  • We point out that automatic translations may contain errors.
  • We provide a channel to report presentation errors.

Independence

Civika does not belong to any public administration, political party or convening body. It does not process aid, it does not charge for access to information and it does not alter the results due to commercial agreements.

Financing

Access to the search engine will continue to be free. The project can finance part of its costs through non-intrusive advertising. Advertising will be displayed separately from the content, will not influence the results and will respect the user's privacy choice.

Contact

If you detect a presentation error or want to suggest an improvement, write to contacto@civika.info. For questions about a call you must contact the official body that publishes it.
