Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Those people who meet the following may be beneficiaries of this aid: a) Have Spanish nationality and refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons, as well as resident or transient foreigners in the terms provided for in article 9 of Law 16/2019, of May 2, on Social Services of the Canary Islands. b) Be registered and effectively reside in the municipality or, if not, prove the commitment to register to use the home as your habitual and permanent residence or rent it to a third party under a rental regime within a period of two months from the completion of the works. c) Be owners, co-owners, usufructuaries or heirs of the home in which the rehabilitation works are to be carried out, or Communities of owners of collective residential buildings that meet the requirements and conditions of the bases. d) That the home or residential building of a collective residential typology that is the object of the rehabilitation constitutes the habitual and permanent domicile of its owners or tenants at the time of the subsidy application, or intends to be so as provided in letter b) of this same section. f) That the dwelling or residential building of collective residential typology and the rehabilitation works comply with the provisions of the urban planning regulations that are applicable, leaving aside the type of action provided for in letter D of the second base, in relation to works in isolated dwellings in a situation outside of planning. g) Comply with the requirements of the housing or residential building of collective residential typology established in these rules. 4.2 Those who are subject to some of the prohibitions established in the second section of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiaries. 4.3 For the purposes of these rules, a family unit is understood to be made up of the applicant, his spouse or the person who lives with him in the event of de facto unions, and other first and second degree relatives by consanguinity and affinity, which constitute an economic unit. 4.4 In the event that the subsidy is requested to carry out accessibility actions, one of the members of the coexistence unit has a recognized disability or is over 65 years of age. 4.5 The obligations of the beneficiaries are those established in article 14 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General on subsidies, including the following: a) Justify to the granting body compliance with the requirements and conditions, as well as carrying out the activity or adopting the behavior that grounds the granting of the aid. b) Submit to the verification actions to be carried out by the granting body, as well as any other verification that the competent control body may carry out, providing whatever information is required in the exercise of the previous actions. c) Notify the granting body of obtaining other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose. d) Communicate to the City Council any alteration that occurs in the circumstances and subjective and objective requirements taken into account for the granting of the aid and provide any information that is requested. e) Be up to date in compliance with tax obligations with the Government of the Canary Islands, State Tax Agency, Social Security Treasury or alternative social security regimes and with the Municipal Treasury itself. f) Provide any information required by the City Council, both during the application and concession procedures, and during the execution, completion and justification of the works. g) Give consent, both to the City Council and to the Canarian Housing Institute, so that it can publicly display the result of the intervention carried out and the aid granted.
