2a. Call for the granting of subsidies derived from the l'Escala winter carnival parade, held on February 19, 2023.

Official description of the call

1.- Purpose of the call: The granting of subsidies during the 2023 year, through the non-competitive competition procedure, corresponding to the 2nd. call for subsidies from the L'Escala City Council, for line 1 of subsidies for the construction of the float for those groups that participated in the winter carnival parade held on February 19, 2023, and who did not request a subsidy in the first call (BOP extract no. 31, of February 14, 2023); in accordance with the Bases for regulatory subsidies approved in a plenary session on December 16, 2022 and published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona no. 246, edict no. 11454, dated December 28, 2022 and in DOGC no. 8843, dated January 30, 2023. The procedure for granting these subsidies is non-competitive competition, in its direct concession modality, provided for in article 22.2 of Law 38/2003, general subsidies. In accordance with the Strategic Subsidy Plan of the L'Escala City Council 2022-2024, approved in a plenary session on November 8, 2021 and published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona no. 4, edict number 19, dated January 7, 2022. 2.- Assigned budget credits and economic distribution: The aid object of this 2nd. call will be in charge of the budget item for the 2023 financial year number 11.334.48900.13 with a budget allocation of €3,875.00. The economic distribution will be carried out according to the criteria that appear in base 6a. of the corresponding regulatory bases. 3.- Recipients: They may attend this 2nd. call for subsidies those groups that participated in the winter carnival parade held on February 19, 2023, and that did not request a subsidy in the first call (BOP extract no. 31, dated February 14, 2023); that meet and accredit the requirements specified in points 1 and 4 of the aforementioned Regulatory Bases. 4.- Deadlines and submission of applications: The deadline for submitting applications to obtain these subsidies will begin the day after the publication of the call by the National Subsidies Database in the BOP of Girona and will end on October 31, 2023. Subsidy applications must be submitted to the General Registry of the Citizen Services Office of L'Escala City Council and/or in any of the forms provided for by current legislation. The documentation specified in point 7 of the Regulatory Bases must be provided. 5.- Resolution and notification period: The Local Government Board of L'Escala City Council must issue the corresponding resolution within a maximum period of 3 months from the day following the date of publication of the call, which will be individually notified to the applicants within a maximum period of 10 days from the date of adoption of the resolution. 6.- Appeal regime: The resolution agreement of the call will put an end to the administrative route, and a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious Administrative Court of Girona, within a period of two months counting from the day following its notification. Alternatively and optionally, an appeal for reconsideration may be filed with the Mayor of L'Escala City Council, within a period of one month from the day following notification. 7.- Advertising: This call will be published in the National Subsidies Database, in the Registry of subsidies and aid of Catalonia (RAISC), in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, on the Corporation's notice board, and on the transparency portal of the L'Escala City Council website.
