Resolution of December 22, 2023 of the Presidency of the AECID, which approves the call for the MAEC-AECID Scholarship Programs for citizens of countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia 2024-2025.

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Foreign citizens who meet the general requirements established in section 2 of the call resolution, and the specific requirements for each program. Second. Purpose of the call: Grant training aid in the terms set out in the sections of the call and its annexes I, II, III, IV, and V, for each of the following programs: MASTER Program: scholarships to complete an in-person master's degree in Spain for public employees and personnel integrated into the public systems of Latin American countries and the Philippines, included in the bilateral strategies of the current Spanish Cooperation Master Plan. Annex I. AFRICA-MED Program: scholarships for training and research stays in Spain for citizens of African and Middle Eastern countries, included in the bilateral strategies of the current Spanish Cooperation Master Plan or recipients of Official Development Assistance (ODA). Annex II. DIPLOMATICA SCHOOL Program: scholarships for citizens of Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, the Philippines and Ukraine, to complete the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations at the Diplomatic School of Spain. Annex III. MUSICA Program: scholarships for excellent musical training for Ibero-American citizens at the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music in Madrid. Annex IV. ASALE Program: scholarships to complete a master's degree in Hispanic lexicography and collaborative training stays at the headquarters of the Spanish Language Academies associated with the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE), for citizens of Latin America, the United States of America, Equatorial Guinea and the Philippines. Annex V. Third. Regulatory bases: Order AEC/1098/2005, of April 11, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, scholarships and aid for training, research, exchange, promotion, and travel and stay of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (BOE no. 99, of April 26, 2005). Fourth Amount: Total amount: 4,523,207.00 euros. The allocation of an individual scholarship is detailed in each of the programs listed in Annexes I, II, III, IV, and V of the call. All programs have a monthly endowment during the scholarship award period. In addition, there are other specific aids in each scholarship program that can be consulted in the aforementioned annexes. From March 5 to 19, 2024. MUSICA Program: scholarships for musical training of excellence for Ibero-American citizens at the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music in Madrid. From April 16 to 29, 2024. ASALE Program: scholarships to complete a master's degree in Hispanic lexicography and collaborative training stays at the headquarters of the Spanish Language Academies associated with the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE), for citizens of Latin America, the United States of America, Equatorial Guinea and the Philippines. From March 5 to 19, 2024. The time regime for calculating deadlines will be established in accordance with the official calendar, date and time published in the AECID Electronic Headquarters. All deadlines will end on the days specified at 1:00:00 p.m. of the AECID electronic registry. Sixth. Other information of interest. Applications must be completed duly and entirely in Spanish, in the corresponding form, electronically, created at www.aecid.gob.es, in a complete and truthful manner.
