Call for Subsidies under a competitive competition regime for furniture and equipment of public spaces for Local Municipal Entities with dispersed population centers and a population of less than twenty thousand inhabitants, 2024 1.- OBJECT. ELIGIBLE EXPENSES. OBJECT RECIPIENT ENTITIESThe purpose of these bases is to regulate, under a competitive competition regime, the subsidies of the Provincial Council of Cáceres, in favor of the local entities defined in the fourth base, for the financing of capital expenditures for the acquisition of furniture and equipment of public spaces located in population centers other than the main one, in the financial year 2024 in order to provide the necessary and convenient public service to the citizens who reside therein. ELIGIBLE EXPENSESThis call will subsidize the acquisition, by the local entities defined in the fourth base, of furniture and equipment for public spaces located in population centers other than the main one, in the terms provided for in the tenth base. The investment expenses made by the beneficiary entities, for the development of the eligible activities defined in the first base, which are attributable to chapter 6 (real investments) in regarding the acquisition of goods of an inventoriable nature, in accordance with the expense structure established in Order EHA/3565/2008, of December 3, which approves the structure of the budgets of local entities, except for those excluded in the following section. To be eligible for subsidies, the expenses must all be newly acquired, carried out in 2024 and meet at least one of the following characteristics: a) They are not fungible goods. b) That have a duration that is foreseeably longer than the budgetary year. c) That are susceptible to inclusion in the inventory. As an indication, the acquisition of the following inventoryable goods will be eligible for subsidy under this call: - Furniture and fixtures for outbuildings - Furniture for public spaces - Civil protection and fire prevention material - Computer and audiovisual material EXCLUSIONS Expenses of a nature other than those indicated in the previous section will not be considered eligible. Specifically, they are excluded. expressly the expenses attributable to chapter 6 referring to infrastructure works, acquisition of land or natural assets and those for the acquisition or construction of buildings or facilities. RECIPIENT ENTITIES Local municipal entities in the province of Cáceres with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants may be beneficiaries of this aid and, according to the Gazetteer available on the website of the National Institute of Statistics, queried on January 17, 2024, and the available data being those established by the Ine corresponding to January 1, 2022, have at least one unit. singular population of twenty or more inhabitants in addition to the main nucleus - excluding minor local entities, if applicable -, and that are not subject to a prohibition to obtain the status of beneficiary of public subsidies in accordance with article 13 of the General Law of Subsidies and art. 7 of the OGS. The list of these entities is included in the annex that is published with the Call. 2.- BUDGET ALLOCATION AND AMOUNT OF BUDGET ALLOCATION This call for subsidies is included in the General Budget of the Provincial Council for the year 2024, in application 02.9220.76200, with a total amount of two hundred thousand euros and ninety-eight cents (€200,000.98). AMOUNT The Provincial Council will grant aid maximum of Twenty-one thousand eight hundred and forty-eight euros (€21,848.00), per request. 3.- REQUESTS. PROCESSING SYSTEM AND SUBMISSION DEADLINE This call will be processed electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Cáceres (https://sede.dip-caceres.es), electronic processing being mandatory in all phases of the procedure, including, where applicable, the refund phase. Applications must be submitted by the interested entities within a period of twenty business days, counting from the day following the publication of the Extract of this call in the Official Bulletin
