FIRST. Beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of this aid will be people who meet the following requirements: Be of legal age. Be registered and reside legally and effectively in the town. The purpose of this call is to directly grant extraordinary social support aid for contingencies, to those people who meet the requirements established by the Ministry of Health and Social Policies of the Government of Extremadura based on Decree 110/2021, of September 22 and through the Resolution of April 23, 2026, of the Minister, which orders the publication in the Official Gazette of Extremadura of the Agreement of March 17, 2026, of the Governing Council of the Government of Extremadura, by which the Municipal Economic Collaboration Program is approved for extraordinary aid for social support for contingencies 2026 and by which credit is granted to the City Council of Plasencia for a total amount of €198,186.13, for the year 2026. The extraordinary aid for social support for contingencies is non-periodic economic benefits to be granted to people residing in Extremadura who, due to extraordinary situations, cannot meet, on their own or through the social or institutional resources available in the environment, certain expenses considered basic, requiring attention in a short period of time in order to prevent, avoid or alleviate processes of social exclusion and temporarily guarantee coverage of basic personal subsistence needs. THIRD. Regulatory Bases. The Regulatory Bases will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres and on the website of the Plasencia City Council. ROOM. Amount. The total amount of the subsidies to be awarded will not exceed €198,186.13 in total. There is sufficient credit in item 0111 23111 48004 of the 2026 budget to cover the total expense involved in said call. FIFTH. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will remain open from the day following the publication by the National Subsidies Database of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres and will end on December 15, 2026 as long as there is a subsidy available for this purpose and directed to the Ilmo. Mr. Mayor of the Hon. Plasencia City Council.
