Subsidies for the l'Escala autumn research grant, for the 2024 financial year.

Official description of the call

1.- Purpose of the call: The granting of the L'Escala Autumn Research Grant subsidy, through the competitive competition procedure, during the 2024 financial year, according to the Regulatory Subsidy Rules approved in a plenary session on March 7, 2022, and published in full in the BOP of Girona no. 50, edict number 1919, dated March 14, 2022, and in no. DOGC no. 8643, dated April 7, 2022. The procedure for granting these subsidies is competitive competition, provided for in article 22.1 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies. In accordance with the Strategic Subsidy Plan of the L'Escala City Council 2022-2024, approved in a plenary session on November 8, 2021 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona no. 218, edict number 9556, dated November 15, 2021. 2.- Assigned budget credits and economic distribution: The subsidy object of this call will be charged to the budget item for the 2024 financial year number 11.334.48900.01, Scholarships, with a budget allocation of €2,500.00. The economic distribution will be carried out according to what appears in arts. 6, 9 and 12 of the corresponding Regulatory Bases. 3.- Recipients: Researchers who, individually or collectively, present a research project in the fields of science or social sciences, in relation to L'Escala and its territorial scope, who have a confirmed research track record and who can commit to having a continuous presence throughout the entire stay, are eligible for the L'Escala Autumn Research Grant. The research project they present must be unpublished. Researchers of any nationality can participate in the scholarship. 4.- Deadlines and submission of applications: The deadline for submitting applications to obtain these subsidies will begin the day after the publication of the call by the National Subsidies Database in the BOP of Girona and will end on June 27, 2024. The submission of the subsidy application must be submitted to the General Registry of the Citizen Services Office of the City Council of L'Escala and/or in any of the forms provided for by current legislation. The documentation specified in point 7 of the Regulatory Bases must be provided. 5.- Resolution and notification period: The Local Government Board of L'Escala City Council must issue the corresponding final resolution within a maximum period of 6 months from the day following the date of publication of the call; which will be notified individually to the applicants within a maximum period of 10 days from the date of adoption of the resolution. 6.- Appeal regime: The resolution agreement of the call will put an end to the administrative route, and a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious Administrative Court of Girona, within a period of two months counting from the day following its notification. Alternatively and optionally, an appeal for reconsideration may be filed with the mayor of L'Escala City Council, within a period of one month from the day following the day of notification. 7.- Advertising: This call will be published in the National Subsidies Database, in the Registry of subsidies and aid of Catalonia (RAISC), in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, on the Corporation's notice board and on the transparency-web portal of the L'Escala City Council.
