Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. All Municipalities and Minor Local Entities of the province of Alicante, with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, as long as they are not subject to any of the causes of prohibition to be a beneficiary of subsidies in accordance with the provisions of art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second. Object. Promote the equipment and improvement of road safety on municipally owned roads and highways in the exercise of the powers indicated in arts. 25 and 26 of Law 7/1985 of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and contemplates the acquisition of various elements for the equipment and improvement of road safety, on rural roads and highways. The purpose of the subsidy will be applied only to the cost of supply (acquisition) of the elements detailed below: - Solar LED luminaires. - Signaling and beacon elements (vertical signs, curve panels, cylindrical milestones, road reflectors). - Vehicle containment (metal safety barrier, wooden barriers). - Speed ​​reducing devices. - Other elements to improve road safety (mirrors). - Information equipment (information signs, information or informative panels). - Surveillance devices for road safety (cameras). The purpose of this Call is to satisfy the needs of the inhabitants of the municipality and collaborate in economic and technical assistance and cooperation with Local Entities. Third. Regulatory bases. General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Plenary of the Excma. Provincial Council of Alicante, in session of April 14, 2005, (BOP no. 118, of May 27, 2005) and Specific Rules included in the Call. Room. Amount. - The initial amount allocated to this Call will be FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€500,000.00), with the subsidies granted under budget application 34.4541.7620100 called “Subsidies to Town Councils for investments in Lighting Fixtures and Improvement of road safety on municipally owned Roads” corresponding to the Provincial Budget for the year of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies. - The concession has the character of a competitive competition procedure and a single selective procedure, under the terms established in the bases, and in accordance with the Subsidies Ordinance of the Excma. Provincial Council of Alicante under the protection of Base 18.1.D of the current Budget Execution that establishes that the granting of subsidies will be carried out in accordance with the criteria of publicity, transparency, concurrence, objectivity and non-discrimination, through ordinary or open calls, in accordance with the General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Provincial Plenary Session of April 14, 2005, as well as the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and its regulations. - The maximum budget to be subsidized will be graduated based on the population of the municipality, according to the following scale: No. of inhabitants of the municipality Maximum subsidized budget < 1,000 €5,000.00 1,000 - 5,000 €6,500.00 5,001 - 10,000 €8,000.00 10,001 – 19,999 €10,000.00 - The maximum amounts of subsidies to be granted by the Provincial Council for the execution of the actions covered by the call will be 100%. However, beneficiaries may carry out actions that exceed the established limits, assuming the non-eligible part with their own resources, for which they must indicate this in their application and acquire the corresponding contribution commitment. These subsidies may not be compatible with others granted to the entity for the same purpose, granted by any Public Administration or entity of a public or private nature, and may be revoked in the event that the beneficiary fails to comply with said condition, being obliged to reimburse the Provincial Council for the aid granted in
