Announcement from the Most Excellent Valencia City Council on the extract of the Agreement of March 1, 2024 of the Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council, which approves the CALL FOR SUBSIDIES TO ASSOCIATIONS AND ENTITIES FOR PROJECTS THAT PROMOTE THE EQUALITY OF LGTBI PEOPLE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VALÈNCIA FOR THE YEAR 2024 In accordance with the provisions of the articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/747009): First. Beneficiaries: Associations, entities, organizations, federations or groups of associations and entities, with implementation in the municipality of València. Second. Purpose: promote cooperation between the social initiative and the local administration to optimize existing resources, coordinate and complement the municipal actions carried out by the Department of Equality, and promote and support the actions of the associative movement that promotes equality for LGTBI people in all areas of life and fights against all discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, sexual development or family group. Third. Regulatory Bases: General Subsidies Ordinance of the Valencia City Council and its Public Bodies, initially approved by plenary agreement of July 28, 2016 (BOP 1-09-16), made final by Mayor's Resolution No. Z-903, dated October 19, 2016 (BOP 2-11-16). Room. Amount: The amount of the subsidy awarded will be paid in two moments: 1. At the time of granting the subsidy, in an advance payment of 75% of the subsidy awarded. 2. Once the period of 12 months has elapsed since the granting and payment of 75% of the subsidy awarded, after justification by the beneficiary of the implementation of the project, the second payment of 25% of the subsidy awarded will be paid. The global amount of the subsidies is €66,666.67. Fifth. Application submission period: Submission period subject to publication in the Official Gazette. The deadline to submit the application will be 1 month from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia. When the last day of the submission period is a non-business day, it will be deemed extended to the first following business day.
