Official description of the call
First. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to define the set of conditions and the procedure to follow for the application, obtaining, justification and collection of the subsidies granted by the Alzira City Council, under a competitive competition regime, to the associations and entities of the town that do not have a specific nominative subsidy of a cultural nature to the Budget, for the development of cultural activities. Second. Beneficiaries: Associations and entities domiciled in the municipality of Alzira, which carry out actions to promote, develop and promote music, theatre, dance, literature, plastic and audiovisual arts, as well as any other discipline of an artistic or cultural nature, may benefit from this call and be beneficiaries of the subsidies contemplated therein. Those entities that are in any of the situations of prohibition of holding such condition established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, may not be beneficiaries of these subsidies. Associations or entities that have a nominative subsidy of a cultural nature exclusively provided for in the budget may not be beneficiaries of this subsidy, even if the object is different. Third. Regulatory bases: The Plenary Session of the Alzira City Council, in the session held on January 29, 2020, has definitively approved the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alzira City Council, which contains the regulatory bases of the procedure for the granting of subsidies by this City Council, and the full text of the same has been published in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia No. 29, dated February 12, 2020. Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting subsidy applications will be TWENTY business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia. Fifth.- Maximum total amount of the subsidies called: The maximum total amount of the subsidies called will be 1,400 euros, charged to the budget application “3340 48310 Subsidies Other Cultural Entities”, of the Alzira City Council Budget for the year 2026. Sixth.- Documentation: The applications will be presented in the General Registry of the Alzira City Council, or in the other forms contemplated in the art. 16.4 of Law 39/2015, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Subsidy applications will contain the following documentation: a) Instance signed by the legal representative of the applicant entity, in accordance with the official model that appears as Annex I. b) Detailed budget, indicating income and expenses by concept. c) Detailed project of the activity to be carried out, whether the annual project or a specific and singular activity, which will have to be accompanied by how many documents expand and enrich the information on the objectives to be achieved and the means available. Seventh. Resolution: The competent body for the resolution will be the Local Government Board. The maximum period for communicating the resolution or agreement to grant or deny aid will be six months, counting from the end of the application submission period. Eighth. Justification and payment: To collect the subsidies regulated by these regulations, the presentation of the supporting account is required, according to the model in Annex II of this call.
