First. Beneficiaries: Athletes who are in the situation that legitimizes its granting and who meet the requirements indicated in the regulatory bases and in the call may be beneficiaries of the aid. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to collaborate with local athletes in Paterna and encourage training and competition programs to achieve their objectives. Third. Regulatory bases: The regulatory bases for aid for local athletes have been approved by the Plenary Agreement of the Paterna City Council dated April 26, 2023 published in the BOP Valencia No. 89 dated 05/10/2023, and are published on the website www.esport.paterna.es, as well as on the edict board of the aforementioned Foundation. Other information: Athletes who meet the circumstances provided for in these Regulatory Bases and also meet the following circumstances may obtain beneficiary status: a) Be under 35 years of age at the time of the application, and without age limit for any adapted sporting discipline. b) Be registered and be a resident in the municipality of Paterna uninterruptedly for the previous 12 months counting from the date of the application or, failing that, be affiliated with a local sports club for at least the last two seasons (24 months) uninterruptedly at the time of the application. c) Be in possession of the federative or school license for the corresponding sports modality in force. d) Not being considered a professional athlete. Athletes who prove any of the following conditions may obtain the status of beneficiaries: - Hold the status of elite athlete at the current regional level (in accordance with the List of the Generalitat Valenciana). - Hold the status of current national elite athlete (in accordance with the List of the Higher Sports Council). - Be a regional champion of the discipline in the 2025/2026 season or year 2026. - Be a finalist in the Spanish Championship of the discipline in the 2025/2026 season or year 2026. - Be a participant in the European Championship, the World Championship or the Olympic Games of the discipline in the 2025/2026 season or year 2026, if held.
