First. Beneficiary Persons: Natural or legal persons, communities of property, civil societies or other economic entities without legal personality may apply for the subsidy, who meet, among others, the following requirements: - That the applicant has been registered in the special regime for self-employed workers (RETA hereinafter) between October 8, 2025 and the date of submission of the subsidy application. - That the natural person or, where appropriate, one of the administrators of the entity, is registered in the municipality of València at the time of submitting the application, with a minimum registration period of 5 years counted from January 1, 2016. - That the person whose registration in the RETA motivates the subsidy application has not been registered in said regime in the 2 months prior to their current registration date. That in the event that the economic activity is carried out in a specific location, at least one location must be in the municipality of Valencia. In the event that the activity does not take place in any specific location, the tax domicile must be in the municipality of Valencia. If the applicant belongs to the agricultural, livestock and/or maritime or continental fishing sector in the Albufera area, this requirement will not apply. - If the applicant belongs to the agricultural and/or grenadier sector, they must be the owner of a farm with at least one plot in production located in the municipality of Valencia. If the applicant is professionally dedicated to fishing, he or she must have the corresponding valid fishing license issued by the competent administration and, where appropriate, the corresponding administrative authorizations. In the case of inland fishing in the Albufera area, belong to the fishing communities of El Palmar, Catarroja or Silla. In the case of maritime fishing, be owners of an active vessel with a base port in the municipality of Valencia or with authorization to change the base port prior to the publication of the call on the Electronic Notice Board of the Valencia City Council. - That the ownership of the activity must correspond to self-employed workers or companies whose average workforce of registered workers in the 12 months prior to the submission of the application is less than 10 workers. Second. Purpose: Promote the creation of business activity in the municipality of Valencia, through the establishment of aid aimed at supporting, at the beginning of economic activity, those people who have registered in the special regime for self-employed workers between October 8, 2025 and the date of submission of the subsidy application, favoring the reconciliation of work and family life and, in turn, supporting young entrepreneurs under 36 years of age. Third. Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Valencia City Council and its Public Bodies, initially approved by plenary agreement of July 28, 2016 (BOP 1-09-16), elevated to final by Mayor's Resolution No. Z-903, dated October 19, 2016 (BOP 2-11-16).
