Official description of the call

1.- Specific regulatory bases The call will be governed by the specific regulatory bases of the Carmela Loureiro Literary Contest approved by the Plenary Session of the Ferrol City Council on February 7, 2022, published on the Notice Board of the Electronic Headquarters of the municipal website https://www.ferrol.gal/Sede/TaboleiroAnuncios and in the Official Gazette of the Province of La Coruña no. 35, dated February 21, 2022: https://traductor.dacoruna.gal/fron-trad/urlTranslate.php?direction3=gl-es&inurl=https://bop.dacoruna.gal/bopportal/publicado/2022/02/21/2022_0000000829.html 2.- Budget credits The budget credit assigned to This call is charged to the following budget application: Budget application Assigned credit 01103-9205-480.00 €4,000.00 3.- Object and purpose The objective of this call is to grant, on a competitive basis, the prizes of the Carmela Loureiro Literary Contest for the year 2024, which are as follows: - A tablet for each person awarded for each category in each one. of the three modalities: microstories, micropoetry and microtheater. - An eBook or electronic book for each second prize awarded in cases where the jury deems it appropriate. 4.- Concession modality Competitive competition regime. 5.- Requirements to participate in the contest All students from the non-university educational centers of the Ferrol City Council and those centers in the region that are part of the Ferrolterra Linguistic Normalization Equipment Coordinator (CENL), which meet the requirements and purposes of this call, may attend this call. The requirements are included in bases 4 and 5 of the specific regulatory bases that accompany this call. With respect to the micro-story modality, participants must prepare a narrative text that may not exceed 150 words and must begin with the following text: “O que eu querolearn el non o saber,” by Luisa Villalta. 6.- Bodies competent for the instruction and resolution of the procedure The body competent for the instruction of the procedure will be the Linguistic Normalization Service. The competent body for the resolution of the procedure will be the delegate councilor of the Area of Education, University, Linguistic Policy, Equality, Women, Family, Childhood, Multiculturalism, Social Policy and Inclusion (delegation by agreement of the Local Government Board, dated 12/11/2023, BOP Coruña no. 241, dated 12/20/2023. 7.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for the submission of applications for participation in the contest will be 30 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP in accordance with the procedure established in art. 20.8 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. 8.- Resolution and notification period The agreement of the delegate councilor of the Area of Education, University, Linguistic Policy, Equality, Women, Family, Childhood, Multiculturalism, Social Policy and Inclusion for which these awards are granted will be adopted within a maximum period of six months from the date of publication of the call. 9.- Documentation to be submitted with the applications That appears in base 5 of the specific regulatory bases that accompany this call together with the following documentation: - Document proving that the student participating in the contest is enrolled in one of the non-university educational centers of the City Council. of Ferrol or in any of the centers in the region that are part of the CENL. - Responsible declaration of not being involved in the causes of incompatibility or inability to be a beneficiary or receive the awards, provided in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 13, General of Subsidies. - Responsible declaration of being up to date with compliance with tax and Social Security obligations. assessment Those that appear in base 8 of the specific regulatory bases that accompany this call 11.- Notification and publication The granting of the awards will be approved by resolution of the delegate councilor of the Area of Education, University, Linguistic Policy, Equality, Muller, Family, Childhood, Multi.
